Day 60: Russian Empire On The Verge Of Collapse

Day 660, 19:08 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

Russia was able to win a key battle in Connecticut however the U.S. continues to steamroll through Russian regions and now every Russian held region is under attack except for Connecticut. The Russian victory in Connecticut is significant because it will force the U.S. to retreat more regions from Colombia in order to be able to go on the offensive again. The U.S. could also employ the resistance war tactic however this would be difficult since most Americans would be unable to fight. The U.S. has an active resistance war going in Rhode Island and the battle hasn't changed much since it started 12 hours ago.

Colombia has taken control of both Texas and Missouri and is now attacking California. While this may seem disheartening it is worth noting that the only reason Colombia has been winning is that we have been retreating. Once Russia is taken care of Colombia won't stand much a chance since they only have a population of 2,000 and no active MPPs. After Colombia the U.S. will then just have to take their regions back from Hungary and get Portugal to pull out of Maryland to complete the total liberation. Hungary hasn't been able to do much due to constant blocking attacks from Canada. Hungary currently controls Washington, Montana, North Dakota, and Alaska.

We are still waiting for the Spanish to launch a resistance war in Andalucia which is currently controlled by Brazil. This is the last Spanish region under foreign control and if Spain can pull out a victory there they would be the first country of this war to achieve total liberation. The offensive in Canada has stalled but this is most likely due to the amount of support Canada has been giving to the U.S. to help block Hungary and Russia.
