Day 59: Russia Down To Six North American Regions

Day 659, 19:39 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

The U.S. continues to roll through Russian held regions despite the blocking efforts launched by Colombia. Russia is now down to just six American regions and three of those regions are currently under attack. If the trend continues Russia will be down to just Rhode Island and New Jersey by tomorrow. It will be vital that they hold those two regions if they want to continue military operations in North America. If Russia were to be taken out of the equation it would allow the U.S. to focus on containing and eventually pushing back Colombia and then Hungary.

The sweeping victories yesterday didn't come without a price as the U.S. had to sacrifice the regions of New Mexico and Oklahoma to Colombia in order to regain the offensive against Russia. Colombia is now attempting to attack Texas, while the attack will most certainly fail it will likely keep the U.S. from retreating since it won't be worth retreating Texas to take out Russia. Another option for the U.S. would be to just try and resistance war New Jersey and Rhode Island back should a window to attack Russia not open up in the next few days. This will be harder to pull off since most Americans will be unable to fight however it would take the Colombian attack out of the equation.

Spain is well on their way to total liberation as they have just liberated the Canary Islands from Brazil. Now Spain just needs to take Andalucia back to gain control of all of their original regions. We have yet to see a resistance war pop up here but it will likely start within the next 24 hours. Early on it appeared that Brazil might put up a fierce fight however it ended up as another resistance war victory for Spain. Down in Mexico the Colombians have land swaped some regions back to Mexico in order to prevent the U.S. from moving through Mexico's Colombian held regions and attacking original Colombian regions should they lose the offensive.
