Day 5 - Staggering Losses for America, Brazil

Day 5 -

North America
Within an hour of this publishing, America will suffer another four losses. Utah will fall to the Indonesians, as they pressed northward from their most recent conquest of Arizona. It was anticipated yesterday, that Canada would conquer Oregon, and seal off both Washington and Alaska from invasion. However, in a surprising turn of events, the Americans defeated the Canadians in Oregon. This came about from some heavy tanking by the forces of ONE, and because America now controls the initiative, Canada is effectively blocked from re-attacking Oregon. Unless the United States tries and attack Quebec from Maine, it is looking like Indonesia will be able to get to Washington. This means that Oregon is Indonesia’s most likely next target.

Indonesia’s likely next maneuver

Hungary will capture Mississippi within the next hour, not much to say, because at this point, it’s just one more state being lost. There isn’t any real strategic value in Mississippi, and all of Hungary’s possessions in America are not connected to their capital, meaning no economic bonus.
Poland will capture Massachusetts, and Spain will conquer North Dakota. This will completely surround South Dakota, and that will likely be Spain’s next attack.
However, one glimmer of hope for the Americans, is in Hawaii, where a resistance has formed, and has already won a few rounds. With America coming into their prime-time, it is likely that they can build a sizable lead before Indonesia comes on.

South America
Peru, and their MPP stack of 6, is currently pitching a shutout against Brazil, and their MPP stack of 22; in Center West of Brazil. This is a prime example of not only how strong ONE is, but how they use their Allies. With the fall of North of Brazil yesterday, this war will probably be dominated by resources now, as there is little strategic value for ONE in the remainder of Brazil. Expect an Both of those resources, Peru does not possess.
There is also a Resistance War in North of Brazil, that the Brazilians are currently leading 1-0. This is the key region for Terra and ONE, as it would allow Brazil to attack Spain directly.

Possible Peruvian attacks.

Europe
Portugal was able to conquer Southeast of Mexico, but got stonewalled in the Gulf of Mexico. With the Mexicans controlling the initiative, expect them to try and reclaim their land.
France is still divided by Poland (to the North), and Hungary (to the South). Paris still remains, and I would expect it to. If France were wiped, it would mean a loss of all the wars against it, and it would be that much more expensive to reopen them all.
The same can be said for Germany.

Oceania/Far Eastern Asia
This region has quieted down. China has all the bonuses they need, and Australia and Indonesia keep flirting with each other. Neither has been able to sustain any real momentum against the other. Australia, because they are too weak. And Indonesia, because they are fighting a massive invasion in North America.

Overall Analysis
The Oregon Fiasco was a massive blunder on the part of the Americans. Although it wasn’t necessarily a mistake, it will likely mean that Washington will fall. It is also likely that within a weak, Maine will be the capital of the United States.
As of now, there are two Resistance Wars to watch. The first is in Hawaii. It would be a huge morale boost to the Americans, and potentially lead to a Resistance in California.
The other is North of Brazil. It would cutoff the Peruvians from the rest of their conquests, and also give Brazil the ability to attack the Canary Islands (Spain).
Otherwise, it was business as usual, as ONE continues to burn through America, unchecked.
