Day 44: Peace Treaty Signed With Indonesia... Or Not
Thank you to everyone who voted for me in congress however at this time I have a nice lead and your vote would be better served voting for someone else who needs your vote more then I do.
In a surprising decision the Indonesian congress has accepted the peace proposal earlier today by a vote margin of 13-6. This came as a surprise to many since the U.S. attacked went against the conditions outlined in the original treaty to attack the Indonesian held region of Louisiana which had a wall that was over one million damage points into the underground at battles end. The treaty however has not yet closed the war in game as the U.S. was able to conquer Louisiana despite the battle ending after the treaty was signed and has since launched an attack into the high population region of Texas. Texas is a high oil region and houses a large amount of American companies, if the U.S. were to succeed here it would be a huge boost for the economy. The U.S. also attacked the Portuguese held region of Georgia.
Despite the recent success of American forces, PEACE is not yet out of tricks. Earlier today Euphonix, a well known peace tank, started a resistance war in Arkansas. This is likely the first plot of a PEACE attempt to get Russia back to bordering the American regions in the south and set them up for an attack on Florida. If the RW were to succeed then Russia could then attack the U.S. in Arkansas and then work their way through Louisiana and Alabama to Florida.
Spain suffered a rare defeat in a resistance war today as they have failed to liberate the region of Galicia. Spain has been on a roll when it comes to winning resistance wars as they have already liberated four regions since being taken over. Despite losing in Galica, Spain has since started another resistance war in the region of Castilla Y Leon. We have yet to see any hints of a possible conquest war starting any time soon despite the recent declaration of war by the Spanish congress and the rest of the battles on this front will likely be fought via RWs.

I don't entirely get the battle in Texas-- did it start before the Indonesian Congress ratified the treaty?
Emerick started the peace proposal vote not on the USA vs. Indonesia war but on the USA vs. Indonesia state of war inside the USA vs. Portugal war.
It seems he tricked the Indonesians into thinking that they are closing the direct war. (Afaik one has no way to check in which war the peace treaty was proposed. Quite a loophole.)

Its unlikely indo will now sign the second peace treaty proposed with them, if they were to it would eliminate the indo MPP with Russia, which means Russia has a lot less power, meaning when they do attack again we should be able to hold them.

They( indonesia) need to reconstruct their position. They don't need all those territories...so they accept this. On the battle filed...you will se indonesian tanks..but not the whole army..It's a good thing that in Peace are really smart people..

This is all a training war...why do you think when we were fighting for Alabama or Louisiana that Indo and PEACE werent fighting back?? Or now in Misso when Russia is doing a shit ton of damage and we arent fighting back? Its a huge ass training war kept in secret, and also to get more players to play tis game...
Keep fighting. The way to beat PEACE is to spread them thin. The moment America stops fighting them is the moment we'll see Spain and probably most of the world crushed, and they'll get back to us when they're done.
Too bad the eUS military isnt interested in peoples opinions. One of my good friends pointed out the Russian threat to the eUSA and they told him there was NO way Russia would get to Florida.
Too bad Russia (with all of PEACE fighting with them despite the treaties) will be rolling into Florida soon.
