Day 41: PEACE Takes A Vacation

Day 641, 20:14 Published in USA USA by Desertfalcon

Today's article will be short because really nothing happened today. The only real attack came when Russia attack the Nord-Norge region of Finland however this has been a small battle since neither side has any MPPs activated. This used to be a hot battlefield back when Finland, Norway, and North Korea all tried to work together to block Russia when they first invaded the U.S. however the activity has died off in recent weeks. Normally this would be considered an insignificant battle however its the only real battle going on today so it gets a mention.

Earlier today PEACE did manage to take over Massachusetts and knocked the U.S. down to just Maine and Florida. Despite not attacking Maine today PEACE will still be able to attempt to take out both Florida and Maine tomorrow which would make it so we wouldn't be able to elect a congress on the 25th should they win. If this were to occur the U.S. would be very vulnerable to PTOs as without an elected congress people will be granted citizenship automatically, while it may be difficult to PTO the U.S. it won't be impossible with its reduced numbers as many are either stuck behind enemy lines or have left for Greece.

In Europe a resistance war in the French held region of Navarra was successful and Spain now has its second region. Navarra isn't really a key regions but still its a good sign for Spain and will surely boost the confidence of the resistance forces. Canada has also had recent success in their resistance wars and today they have voted to rebuild the Q5 hospital in Alberta. Canada had originally had one here however it was destroyed in the initial invasion of Canada. With its construction hundreds of Canadian refugees have returned to their homeland and in a little over a day Alberta has gained 400 citizens.

Really that's all for today, its been a pretty slow day but I do expect things to really heat up tomorrow, stay tuned for more updates.
