Day 15, 16, 17 - China Prepares for Invasion

Editor’s Note: My apologies for not writing during the long holiday weekend. I hope everyone was happy, well fed, and drunk. Like I was.
Days 15, 16 and 17 -
North America
As was predicated, Hungary declared the United States as natural enemy over the weekend. This was followed by invasions of both Arizona, and California. The United States put up minimal resistance, but did not end up winning any of the sixteen minibattles. Hungary was very determined to win these battles, and ultimately, the United States is better served by allowing them to move across them, and end the war by conquering Hawaii.
This maneuver is an attempt by Hungary to gain a border with China. All Hungary needs to do is invade Hawaii, and they will have a border with a Chinese region. Expect to see a Hungarian attack on the island state within the day.

To the North however, there is hope. The American Resistance is alive and well. Already, the regions of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska have been liberated. As well as Washington in the west. Spain cannot attack these regions unless they declare the United States as natural enemy. It is possible that Spain or Poland does this, but it all depends on what the new crop of presidents want to do, and if they want to look towards different targets.
There is a resistance happening in South Dakota currently, and it is likely that North Dakota will be liberated tomorrow. The Americans are working very hard to keep a Spanish border between themselves and Hungary. This will ensure that Hungary cannot attack any more regions than Arizona, California and Hawaii. This is also an attempt to end the war with Hungary as fast as possible, so that the United States can get down to the business of liberating their regions.
North Central America
And far to the North, Canada was wiped off the map this weekend. Like the USA and Brazil, this is a blessing in disguise, as it means that the Canadians are now free of any active wars against them, and can focus on liberating their regions via Resistance War.
South America
What had started as a three front war against Argentina, is now only one. Peru is the only enemy of Argentina that still shares a border with the nation. There are currently no active battles going on that directly affect Argentina, but it is likely that Peru will continue to wage war against their South American neighbor.
Brazil is doing much better in their war with Peru and Spain. The war with Peru is now closed, because Spain occupies North of Brazil, the only original Brazilian region that borders Peru. And the war with Spain is going better as well. The Spanish now control only 2 original regions, having just fended off a fierce Brazilian resistance in Parana and Santa Catarina. The Brazilians almost won, coming up just 2 battles short. Expect another resistance to start very soon, in the same region, or in North of Brazil.
Europe
France and Germany remain almost entirely occupied by Poland and Hungary. If the United States is going to liberate themselves, and remain free, they will have to cut off Poland and Hungary from the East Coast, and that will mean winning resistance wars on the western Coast of France. The four regions that border the East Coast are, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Poitou Charentes, and Aquitaine.
Circle
Portugal was nearly wiped, and remains under the thumb of Mexico. This is somewhat of a surprise, as this war had been going back and forth with no one being able to get the upper hand. Portugal is now down to one region (the Azores) and it is possible that Mexico will be able to hold Portugal down for an extended period of time, as both nations are relatively small, and evenly matched.
Asia
Over the weekend, Russia was pushed all the way back to Far Eastern Russia. The Serbians may wipe the former Phoenix nation, but ultimately, the prize of Asia is to the South in China. Speaking of China, they may have just saved Russia, but declaring Serbia as natural enemy. This may mean that Serbia will be forced to deal with China, and not be able to wipe Russia. Indonesia also shares a border with Russia, but just recently declared the Philippines as Natural Enemy, meaning that they will support Serbia and Hungary invasion of China, from the south.

Overall Analysis
A somewhat slow weekend, all things considered. But for now, China is the global hotspot. USA, Canada, and Brazil have taken ONE’s best punch, and ultimately fallen. And now those nations are left to try and rebuild their nations. And now it is China’s turn. Hopefully, Canada, Brazil and the United States will remember what happened to them, when they received little allied support. If Terra could not make their stand in North, or South America, hopfully they can make it in Far East Asia. Time will tell.

Interesting. But if you look at your map, you'll see that ePortugal is alive x) We can win easily on resistance wars but fail to do so against eMexican attacks due to their mpps.
