Day 10

North America:
On the North American front, Spain continues to take regions from the US. Indiana fell (8-2) and Spain has continued their invasion with an attack on Illinois. They are taking regions that they need economically, and after Illinois, expect an attack on Missouri.
Mexico attacked, and conquered Arizona. This is a different strategy by Mexico, and it could be an attempt to cutoff the US Capital (California) from the rest of the country, thereby wiping out all of our resource bonuses, except grain and fruit. They would need to move through Nevada and Oregon in order to do this. Where the Mexicans attack next will give us insight into their motives.

South America
Brazil saw a pair of surprising victories against Poland yesterday. Although their iron regions are still behind a Polish curtain, Brazil managed to rally and win in Rio Grande do Sul, and win a resistance war in Center West of Brazil. This was an allied effort, and all of Terra and EDEN should be proud. With luck, Brazil can regain their iron regions, and continue to produce the valuable resource for Terra.

Western Europe
France continues to fight for their freedom, winning region after region from Spain and Poland. Both nations have their primary attentions elsewhere, allowing France to regain some of their land.
Germany also conquered two more regions, bringing their total to four.
Also of note in Western Europe, Canada, Ireland and the UK appear to be on the brink of war. I will admit to not having a full understanding of the facts, but from what I gather there are a lot of accusations being thrown around. The best that I can piece together is that Canada and Ireland (Bros for life) were doing planned region swaps, hence the Canadian proposal of Natural Enemy. The UK then stepped in, claiming defense of an allied nation (Ireland). They declared Ireland NE as well. The UK has wanted to wipe Ireland for sometime now, and this might be their attempt. While the rest of Terra is getting dominated elsewhere, the UK seems to be grinding an old axe. The UK should remain largely unscathed through this war, due to their MPP with Serbia. There are also reports that both Canada and the UK were invited to wipe Ireland, do to political reasons within the nation. Either way, the British Isle are shaping up to be a regional hot spot at a time when EDEN/Terra can least afford it.

Eastern Europe
Should this just be called Asia now?
Serbia continued their domination of Russia with an attack on Far Eastern Russia. The region is about to fall, and with it, Serbia will gain a border with Canada, via Alaska. If the Serbs conquer Alaska, they will have a border with America.

Overall Analysis
The victories in South America are tempered by the losses that Russia has seen. Serbia gaining access to North America will put both EDEN and Terra in a very bad spot. The nation is incredibly strong military wise, and will be a challenge for either alliance. The US and Canada should prepare to fight on another front. Hopefully Brazil can expel Poland from South America quickly, so that Terra can focus more of their forces to defending North America.
