Day 1,439: The East Coast Woes and Presidential Elections

Day 1,439, 16:09 Published in USA USA by rivere123
Hello readers. In this particular article, I will be covering presidential elections and the Invasion of the East Coast.

Trouble in the East Coast
As was expected, a coalition of three nations, Spain, Poland, and Serbia, has made landfall on US soil in the days succeeding the primary invasion by war-torn Spain. The US promptly drove the Spanish out of Virginia, but the invasion has tipped in the attackers favor.

America has offered stalwart resistance which deserves much applause, but the invaders have marched deep into US territory. Luckily though, we have managed to turn them back in Arkansas and Tennessee.

The US has been preoccupied in alliance battles since we do realize how many states we can lose before any problems are caused, and so we have lost several Great Lakes and East Coast states. There has been some luck in past days, however; we've managed to reverse any Spanish initiative and reached their doorstep, Galicia.

Currently, there are uprisings against Serbia in DC and Poland in Indiana and Georgia has become the latest state to fall.

Presidential Elections: November

After incumbent president Alexander Auctoritas declared he would not seek a third term, several candidates have stepped up to fill the void. The front runners are Angelini, GoalieBCSC, and Leroy Combs. With primaries currently taking place, all candidates have gotten off to a good start.
