Fair War Bonds Program: Back during the first issuance of War Bonds during Nea Milosu's term, I pointed out that half the available bonds had been gobbled up by two rich eCanadians, and that this was the main reason they sold out within hours and left the average eCanadian without a chance to benefit from them. Now we have legislation in place to ensure that this can never happen again, and that bonds will be evenly spread out so that all eCanadians have a chance to profit from their sale. As President I promise I will make certain that this legislation is being stringently followed each time bonds are issued.
Diverse Representation in Cabinet: Though I haven't announced my cabinet yet, I can make several promises: 1) Each of the top 5 parties will have at least one member represented as one of the major ministers, 2) There will be at least two francophone citizens occupying positions; 3) It will include both citizens young and old, and will strike a good balance between enthusiasm and experience.
Expanding the CAF: Plans to expand the CAF have already begun, and I fully intend to follow through on this. This will give more eCanadians the chance to fight and serve their country. This, like other initatives of mine, includes continual contact and communication with the CAF.
No Tanking Without Full CAF Supplies: Recently there was a case of gold being spent on tanking when not all CAF soldiers were supplied. Under my administration, tanking will never take place unless every single CAF soldier has been supplied. This is because 1) it allows our younger citizens to grow in rank and 2) we actually receive more damage from using 80g for 800 Q1 guns than we would for using that money on a measly 40 wellness packs.
Diamond/Titanium Export Licence Reimbursement: eCanada is set to become one of the largest holders of Titanium upon the release of V2. One of the best ways to prepare for economic prominence in V2 is to increase our exporting capabilities. To do these we can start now by negotiating with countries who are in dire need of commodities, and asking them to pay for half our export licences. The eCanadian government will then cover the other half of the licence cost, and the company will receive their export licence for free. Of course, there will be a limit of 1 such licence for each company, there will be stringent rules put in place to avoid abuse of the system, and it would only be available to Q4 or Q5 companies. These subsidized licences would be available first to those companies who are without exporting capabilities yet. Through this method we can increase our exporting capacity and improve relations with other countries at half cost to eCanada.

Programme d’Obligation de Guerre équitable: Durant la première émission des Obligations de Guerre qui s’est déroulé durant le mandat de Nea Milosu, j’avais fais remarqué que la moitié des Obligations avait été gobé par 2 riches eCanadien et que c’était la principale raison qu’ils s’étaient tous vendus en quelques heures et donnant aucune chance aux citoyens moyens de bénéficier des Obligations de Guerre. Maintenant nous avons une loi qui assure que cet incident ne peut se reproduire, et que les Obligations seront équitablement réparties pour laisser une chance à tous les citoyens de profité de leurs vente. En tant que Président je promets que je ferai sûr que cette loi sera bien respectée chaque fois que des Obligations de Guerre seront émises.
Représentation diverse au Cabinet: Même si je n’est pas encore décidé de mon cabinet je peux faire plusieurs promesses : 1) Chaque parti du Top 5 auront un membre dans une des majeures positions ministérielles 2) Il y aura au moins deux citoyens francophone occupent une position 3) Il inclura des vieux citoyens autant que de nouveaux citoyens, il y aura une bonne balance entre l’expérience et l’enthousiasme.
Expansion des FAC Les plans pour l’expansion des FAC ont déjà commencé , et j’ai l’intention de poursuivre ce projet. Ceci donnera à plus de eCanadien la chance de se battre et servir le pays. Ceci, comme d’autre de mes projets, incluent un contact et une communication continuelle dans les FAC.
Pas de Tanking sans approvisionnement complet pour les FAC: Récemment il y avait un cas ou du gold était dépensé sur le Tanking quand des soldats des FAC n’était pas approvisionnés. Sous mon administration, le Tanking n’aura jamais place à moins que tout les soldats ont été approvisionnés. Voici les raisons1) Sa permet a nos jeunes citoyens d’avancer dans les rangs et 2) Ont fait plus de dommages avec 80G pour 800Q1 que nous ferions avec 40 Wellness Packs.
Remboursement des licences d’exportation de diamant/titanium: Avec l’avènement de la V2, l’eCanada est destiné à devenir un des plus grands propriétaires de titanium du nouveau monde. Une des meilleures façons de se préparer pour cette proéminence économiques dans la V2 serait d’augmenter nos capacités d’exportation. Ainsi, nous pouvons commencer maintenant en négociant avec des pays qui sont présentement en besoin urgent de commodités, leur demandant de payer de moitié nos licences d’exportation. Le gouvernement eCanadien couvrirait l’autre moitié du coût de la licence, et la compagnie pourrait recevoir sa licence d’exportation gratuitement. Bien sûr, il y aurait une limite d’une licence de la sorte par compagnie, et il y aura création d’une loi stricte pour éviter l’abus du système. En utilisant une telle méthode, nous pouvons augmenter notre capacité d’exportation tout en improuvant nos relations à moitié prix pour le gouvernement eCanadien.

Sorry, I don't understand.
Mr. Kirk: There's something called having a "positive trade balance". Exporting means gold is coming INTO the country. We exchange our commodities for their currency, which we then turn into gold. If we import, that means that the country is giving foreign countries money for their products or commodities.
If what you were saying was correct, there would be no advantage to owning a high raw-mats region. You could just put 1% import tax and have everyone import to you. When you're producing your own goods and selling them abroad, you're bringing money into the country. And if you think Addy will back you up on this, he always wants to increase eCanadian exporting capacity. Check his platform.
And for the record, 90% of rich eCanadians don't do their business in eCanada. If you'd like to see how "rich" business owners are here I can do up some calculations for you and show you how high wages cause losses in most sectors except for the highest Q companies. Rich eCanadians do their business elsewhere in the world, so the "rich get richer" comment doesn't really apply here.

This debate have been going on forever. Free trade...Soft wood... I understand that your goal is to bring more gold into the country, its the distribution of this wealth that concerns me. I could counter your points all day long, as you could counter mine, there have always been two schools of thought in the debate concerning augmented trade so I'm not really interested in pursuing this any further. But I do appreciate you taking the time and showing the diplomacy to address my question. That aside I'm still a little confused by the saving the government half the cost comment.
You will, of course, make a donation to the Francophone Office to compensate them for the lost revenue?
Man, I just reread your comment about 90% of Rich eCanadians not doing their business in eCanada. Wow, I guess it makes sense since it's nearly impossible to turn a profit in this country. But instead of resolving that primary delema, we think renting out Regions and Exporting all of our raw materials is somehow going to fix our broken infrastructure. it`s just a quick cash grab with no long term vision. Did you know that in Real life Canada has the 2nd largest oil reserves in the world and instead of refining and using that oil ourselves, we import it to China where the average consumer pays 30% less at the pump. I guess art can imitate life.
the real problem why the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer is game mechanic.
People who have been there for 500 days more than you obviously have an edge, they earn more money with their skill and thus have more money to invest into company, wich is way more profitable.
The current market is flooded with q1-q2 company and people think they are going to make money with them. Ofc you could if you offer dirt wage, but otherwise no. It's not a question of politics, it's a question of game mechanic. Simply because you can hardly catch up to people who are way more older than you.

Mr Kirk: Thank you for your continued comments. I understand why the "half cost" thing is confusing. In fact, I'm going to change it. What I meant is that eCanada on the whole would only be paying for half of the export licence cost. But you're right, that does sound misleading to say the government pays half because before they weren't paying any. Thanks for pointing that out.
Also, you're right about RL oil. We're allowing other nations to get rich off a resource that we won't have forever. However, it does differ from eRepublik in the fact that we very much profit from selling our commodities abroad. The more eCanada can sell abroad, the more gold we can bring into our economy, which means 1) more taxes being paid and 2) more gold is available per CAD, which means every citizen benefits from a rise in the price of CAD.
