D1 wins the day

I cannot express how excessively proud I am !
I am in awe... it was an epic event to behold.

So often, the little guys get forgotten, or lost in the woodwork. This is a perfect example of how vital that single point can be. I hope no D1 ever falls into self-doubt again, thinking they can't affect a battle like a big D4 tank. Every player is important.



As you can see every point of the campaign was locked in, except the final, and deciding D1 point. Slovenia was winning the wall, and there was less than 2 minutes to go. The D1 fighters of eIreland with ALL of her friends and allies rushed the wall, and brought home a victory for the brutally arduous, full 15-round campaign in the very last minute.

The margin of victory was such a fraction of a percent. It wasn't just the damage of the leaderboard that mattered. If just a few of the fighters had decided not to participate, the result would have been completely different. Everyone's damage significantly impacted the victory.


Take all the glory for this one, D1... you deserve it.
