Report: Further conventional fighting futile

Canada and Spain

The Canadian resistance successfully regained three occupied territories from the United Kingdom. The Liberated regions are strategically located away from principle PEACE GC members. In particular, the liberated regions border French territory which is now preoccupied with fighting a war in Spain. Spain successfully managed to resistance war France, however the main body of the PEACE GC Military continues to bludgeon its way across Northern Spain

United States

The Conventional US Military is giving every appearance of a systematic collapse, as Russia, Indonesia and Portugal have secured all major objectives along the axis of advance over the last 24 hours. Efforts to secure a stable front have failed, largely due to allied preoccupation with Europe.

ANALYSIS

The opening of multiple fronts in the European combat theater means fewer allied troops are now available to halt Russia and Indonesia in North America. D.I.R can now state with Moderate Confidence that further United States efforts to hold the line outside New Jersey and Florida will result in failure.

A Review of remaining military capability amongst the FORTIS/EDEN nations shows a massive disparity, both economic and militarily, with thousands of Americans still caught behind enemy lines, even after the United States was numerically outnumbered at the wars outset. Furthermore, the economic power of the PEACE nations shows massive disparity. A brief overview of economic parity indicates PEACE GC is able to produce far vaster sums of gold then the FORTIS/EDEN block. The United States economy is particular is in a state of ruin, having now become weaker then both France and UK. Hungary and Indonesia alone by comparison are able to produce sums equivalent to much of FORTIS/EDENS remaining spending ability.

As painful as this report may be to read, it can now be concluded definitively that further Conventional Fighting will serve no purpose other then to slow the inevitable defeat of the United States and her allies. Even if the initiative could be regained, FORTIS/EDEN no longer has the economic or military capability to sustain a long term counter offensive in the face of inevitable tank barriers and far superior population strengths.

If a White Peace may be established preserving the current national borders “as is” with an immediate halt to fighting on all Fronts, then it should be strongly considered. Though as things now stand, PEACE GC is rapidly losing its reasons for establishing such a Peace and giving the United States and her allies time to recover.

To that end, policy makers should consider the implementation of a resistance strategy swiftly. It can be stated with moderate confidence that New Jersey and Florida will fall within the next 5 to 10 days. Both may manage to hold on, but it will be paid for at the expense of Europe, which would mean the fall of both these bastions regardless of the height of their walls, which as was shown in Ontario, may in the end prove to be more a hindrance then a blessing for the simple fact that PEACE can bide its time keeping the wall down at a level that is far to low for the ever dwindling numbers of FORTIS/EDEN troops to climb back over, and then kill with tanks during overtime when most Americans are asleep.

The United States Government therefore should consider drawing up plans for the resistance campaign, and begin to divide the world into zones of operations for different resistance units. PEACE GC Relies heavily on colonies for its economic success, and will be hard pressed to defend these colonies if Resistances start. Nobody likes an unconventional war, but sadly it is swiftly become the last option left.
