Cyprus' original regions

eCyprus was added on October 2010 given 2 fictional regions, the Northern and the Southern Cyprus. Back then not all regions had raw materials and actually some countries had none at all! The wars were held mostly in order to obtain a raw material and the economy was much different than what it is today! After the changes of the admins, all regions got raw materials and now the more regions a country owns the more bonuses the companies get giving a big boost in economy and a reason for people to have a citizenship in the countries with the most raw materials! On the contrary if a country looses its raw materials she suffers a big change of population as many people try to find those economical havens!

So when the changes took place and along with them the whole game play, the regions of countries stayed the same giving Cyprus a big fat NOTHING! In reality Cyprus is having 6 administrative divisions/regions and in the game she doesn’t even have half of them! These regions are:

Famagusta
Kyrenia
Larnaca
Limassol
Nicosia
Paphos






I think Cyprus might be the only e-country with such an unfair mirroring of real life status! As an outcome of that the country needs to have constant wars in order to capture other regions which will be constantly under resistance wars, or she will need to rent regions costing money at all times and all that in order to get the raw matterials that Cyprus should have on the first place! In an attack, Cyprus will be deleted with only 2 battles, destroying the country's economy once more!


Now the things needed to be done are simple! On one of the future maintenances the admins can add up some more regions to Cyprus! You might say, Cyprus is too small to add more regions, but there are other small countries that have more regions! 2 regions on the current game play of eRepublik equals to death for our country and community!


I wouldn’t bring this subject up if I didn’t know that things can actually change! Just remember that eCyprus has not even half of its RL administrative regions!


We deserve to live in our country with peace and prosperity!
