Having served three consecutive terms, it is with a heavy heart that I must announce to you, the American people, that I shall not seek and will not accept my Party's nomination, to the Office of United States Congressman.
I will, however, be running as a Blocker for the American Trade & Defense Party, in my natural home state of Michigan. Do not vote for me! See below for my recommendation in Michigan.
I urge all Americans to participate in the election process. Of course, read all the news articles you can stand, and make an educated decision. The players you elect to the 34th Congress will be making important decisions which will directly affect your daily game play.
The ADTP still needs Blockers, you can become one by filling out this form.

This list is based on information available to me, and you, through the Federal Elections Commission's Public sheet. The FEC sheet is subject to change as Parties move candidates around and Blockers are added.
I will also be chatting in IRC to other candidates listed, to be sure they're running for real and not blockers, and add them to my personal endorsements list.
The Friday Sept 24 (Day 1039) edition of Custer's Stand will have absolute, final, confirmed information.
Custer's Mantra
What kind of game do you play, what kind of players do you like to align yourself with?
What kind of leaders do you want, what kind of leadership do you expect of them?
What kind of country do you want to "live" in and play for?

A Little Teaser
The American Military Party and the Republican Party are in discussions with the American Defense and Trade Party to arrange a merger. If all goes well this will solidly secure a Top Five spot and we won't be going hat-in-hand to run our candidates anymore.
Everything about what we all stand for and how we can blend these ideals, even a rough idea of job placement for all three Parties executive level staff, is being discussed and decided so smoothly it's a wonder why we were all separate Parties in the first place.
What's holding up the show is the damn name. Republicans insist on having the word Republicans in the name. I'm pretty adamant on including the word Military-- Defense is nice but it's not the same. ADTP folks have had a couple name changes already and don't want the perception of an identity crisis to discourage their members.
A ton of names and acronyms have been floated. Of course I like my own suggestion best.
American Republican Military Proactive Initiative Trade. Go ahead.. spell it out... yeah, that's right.

Thank you Congressmen Custer.
I well were it with honor.
Some very fine choices there.
Johnson, he he. I have mixed feelings about the man, not a one having to do with Vietnam. Interesting choice here, but kind of appropriate speech, I'd agree. Difference being, he was done. You are not 🙂
Thank you for the endorsement.
I'd endorse you if you were running again.
Aww, Krauser in Indiana? :'(
Thanks for the endorsement, but wish you were going to stay in Congress 🙂
Thanks for the endorsement Custer... I understand your reasoning for leaving Congress behind, get your fight back on and have fun being deployable!
I appreciate the endorsement, but I'm only a blocker this time. :/
Custer endorses me! \o/
Thanks Custer.
thanks for the heads up, Fionia.. guess I'll have to look at that Divine Templar fella and see if I can endorse him for Wyoming.
Candor.. yes, LBJ was quite a mixed bag, wasn't he? I had some fun watching YouTube videos, hearing his "off the record" personal thoughts.. there's one where he's ordering some Hagger slacks-- with extra room in the crotch-- that's absolutely hilarious.
still looking at the FEC sheet, chatting with candidates on IRC. This article will be republished every day, but there will be additions and some changes right up to Friday, so do tune in every day and see what's new.
agree with way too much of this. (I HATE politics)
