Currency Report - Day 551- Market Bottom in Sight?

Day 551, 10:06 Published in USA South Africa by Enoch Root
Bottoming Out?

A lot of currencies are starting to pick up to respectable levels again, and there have been some real gainers so far today. I think we are about to see the market start picking up for the elections tomorrow. Of course there are a number of currencies that are still going to be plummeting over the next few days, like the KRW, and the LVL, so stay away from those for the time being.

Speaking of the KRW, it has slowed a bit in how fast it has been dropping, but I don't honestly see a reason why it should rise at all, so I'm going to say again, stay away from this. It's too risky.

Today's Movers

There is only a bit of ESP going for this price, but it's been going back and forth between 0.036 and 0.037.

India will be picking up a few territories over the next week or so. These are original Indian territories being returned to the Indian State. They are not very important regions, but will help India become a little bit stronger, so we might see a slight increase in the INR.

The JPY has been very fluid lately, moving several points every few hours. This might seem wonderful, but when it starts to come down off of a spike like it's recent one, who can say it's going to go back up? It was at 0.028 yesterday morning, up to 0.031 last night, and back down to 0.029 today. Not two weeks ago, the JPY was sitting around 0.019. I think we can count on the JPY to not return to levels that low, but who's to say 0.025 or 0.027 isn't a good value? Or it could continue to rise as Japan assimilates more of South Korea.

The LVL is dropping right on schedule. Once it hits 0.005, their target, what then? How long can they hold it that low, and to what ends besides making the stolen LVL worthless, right along with everyone else's LVL?

The NOK is coming down today from a spike that had it up to 0.02 last night. This is dropping fast, so sell while you can.

What kind of statistics would really help currency traders

I think some of the best data that currency traders could use would be volume measurements. If we knew how much currency was being sold, we could find evidence of nearly every major event in eRep. A lot of events do not necessarily change the value of a currency, but the change in the volume exchanged would be very apparent. We could see TO attempts coming, the loss or gain of some not-so-important territories, not to mention the kind of info this would give about creating/purchasing/selling companies in certain counties. I think this kind of data would help countries out a lot with their monetary policies. Just a thought 🙂

In kind of keeping with the theme set down by the last pic... piercing corset anyone? 😃
