Critique of the Bulgarian Army Reform

Day 818, 21:49 Published in Bulgaria Bulgaria by NIKrumov

Due to increased interest from some of my international friends about my new avatar and last article I publish an international version in English. Thanks for reading.

This article represents my strong disappointment from the army reform that is going on in Bulgaria at the moment.

1. Critique regarding the lack of army anthem.

Don't get me wrong- I have absolutely nothing against organizing ourselves in various units but these have to be the units of the Army of Love. For the Bulgarians who grew up in the nineties or the decades before that there is only one song worthy enough to call itself anthem of the Bulgarian Army of Love. Namely, the perennial hit song by Tashka and Bombashka - What a Party Link (I apologize about sharing a link to vbox, a website very much despised by me as it is mostly inaccessible from abroad. However I could not find a link to this song on YouTube.)

Note to my international readers: As you would not understand the reference in the previous paragraph I offer you a couple of alternatives: Link and Link. I hope you appreciate this.

2. Critique regarding the avatars of our army.

I must admit I am shocked. I was under the conviction that this topic would never again be brought up after Ealendil, as early as five months ago, published the only avatars worthy enough to be worn by the elite Bulgarian troops- Link All I can say is that I am utterly disappointed.

Note to my international readers: Ealendil's article is in Bulgarian but you could still look at the pictures. These are the proposed avatars.

3. Critique regarding the names of the names of the army units.

Names of animals? Seriously? Well, congratulations! No one has ever come up with this before. I really don't have a clue how this idea popped up in your mind. And as I do not want this article to be shear criticism without proposed solutions, here is mine: we name our army units after groups of characters from cartoons. (For those of you who have followed my newspaper in the past, this proposal should come as no surprise given my passion for TV shows for kids.😁 As you have not chosen Ealendil's avatars from my previous critique we might as well go into a completely novel direction. Just imagine yourselves following some important battle and all of a sudden on your screen pops up a whole band of Barbapapas, Smurfs, Gummy Bears, Care Bears, Monchichis, etc. Our enemies will, no doubt, be crushed.

This is all from me for now. If anything else pops up in my mind, I will write again.

Thank you,
forever yours chukcha
