Once again, they have failed you.
Last night, in the wee hours of the morning, 2.9k Gold and 15.5K GBP was stolen from the Bank of England by former Minister of Finance Roadrunnerspeed; it was as easy as stealing candy from a baby, and that baby is your Government.
Even after 2 months since Roadrunnerspeed's tenure as Minister of Finance, the Government was unable to have enough foresight, and intelligence to change the email registered to the Bank of England. This seemingly small error bit them hard in the arse today; all Roadrunnerspeed had to do was send a password recovery to his email address, and change the password and take the money. Simple.
Now your Government is left with the measly sum of 912Gold.
However, Roadrunner has offered to give the money back, in return for his demands, they being:
a) Goku jones removed as MoFA - COMPLETED (500g returned)
b) Support Germany - COMPLETED (412g returned)
c) Removal of corps and the return of the military to the MoD and his understudies and to be given proper funding
d) Support of future allies (if an MPP is triggered you fight for them).
That it has taken a terrorist to have these actions taken is obscene. These are things that a competent government would have done immediately, and not need to have their money stolen for them to do so. Such a basic thing as "supporting of future allies" is obvious; asking for the Military to be funded sufficiently is obvious; getting the Navy running again is obvious. And yet it is only done when in a situation like this.
How low has your government sunk if it needs to be taught how to run a Country by criminals?

If Roadrunnerspeed actually follows through with his promise to return the money, then he's a hero. At least one person took charge of the situation and did the right thing. A pity it wasn't anyone in the government.

Passwords were changed. He used his retrieval e-mail to get a new password.
From what I understand the passwords were changed but the email address used for password recovery was not.
I say just forget about the money,if people can't talk about their issues, and have to resort to theft its a sad day for euk, i say call in the admins and have it taken directly of Roadrunner,

I only joined yesterday - I still do not have a full understanding of eUK politics, but as far as i'm concerned (and what I have read) the majority of what Roadrunnerspeed is demanding seems like a good thing.
Although could someone explain the removal of Goku Jones, if the information is available?
Thats a permban for Roadrunner. Other players who stole money from previous governmental organizations got banned for good and I think thats the right way to go.

3. You lose the argument and things are done differently.

Roadrunnerspeed is simply highlighting an ineffective area of government, the funds are not stolen merely borrowed and the government by way of following the most obvious of advice will get the money returned

I supported Sara 100%. I don't approve of what roadrunner did but somehow it was neccesary to kickstart the government into finally doing something!

Actually, Malta, who i was never a big fan of, did a much better job.
IMHO whether action needed to be taken or not stealing from a nations treasury and then holding that country to ransom and demanding that action is taken to change things that have democratically been voted for should not be allowed.
Surely it is up to the eUK residents when voting to amend any error. I find it is a very sad day when our democratic rights and freedoms are imposed upon, even when that person is trying to do right as they see it.

I am unable to condone the actions of RRS.
Irrespective of the background scenario I feel that it is totally unacceptable for ANY INDIVIDUAL to mount a financial attack on what used to be his home country.
We have a tried and tested means of dealing with differences of opinion - debate followed by voting in the House of Commons.
I am deeply disappointed to see RRS (of all people) resorting to this stupid level of action - in the past he has done a whole load of good for both eUK and the New World.
This is a dark day indeed for eUK.

Hopefully this illustrates how the government needs to keep a tight reign and an open eye on all its dealings, and maybe listen to or at least accomodate the electorate.

the definition of Terrorism is "the use of violence or intimidation for political means". Tell me how this doesn't fit that definition. He's not even an eUK citizen anymore, he's in the Philippines. We don't need or want his interference, no matter how noble he claims his aims are, or how many people support the terrorist.
