CPF Tenet Series: The Third Tenet!

Introducing the new and improved CPF Tenet #3!

“Ensure Canada is a reliable, and selfless ally”

Lets face it, times are changing in eCanada and across the world. Terra and ONE have dissolved. Our state of foreign affairs is completely up in the air. We have no true idea where we may land. We have signed MPP’s with nations that, even one month ago, we would not have previously considered. We are an independent nation. We have our traditional allies, but other than that, we don’t hold many other allegiances. Because of our pacts with nations like Indonesia and Bulgaria, our relations with the eUSA are on shakier ground than previously anticipated. It was obvious that our 3rd tenet had to change along with what Canada has done. As a result, we’ve instituted this new tenet. So what does it mean to us, and what should it mean for you?

It means that the defense of our allies is our first priority. That is the root of our newest tenet. This does not apply to a specific ally or subset of nations. It applies to all allies. In these uncertain times, we cannot foresee who we may be allies with in the future. Might the public favor some allies over others? Sure. However, we will not abandon anyone. After all, if we’ve signed that MPP, then we have committed to the defense of that nation. To not defend that nation is not only irresponsible, but it also means that we have wasted $10,000 on a meaningless pact. We at the CPF commit to committing Canada to her allies and her friends. This means no lulz proposals, especially while the sovereignty of an ally is being threatened. We will be selfless in the defense of our friends. We will be reliable when they call upon us to come to their aid.

To accomplish great things in this game, nations must cooperate with one another. When we pass lulz proposals and NE nations while our allies our being attacked, we do not show a willingness to cooperate and it hurts our image abroad. How will anyone trust us when we seemingly go rogue and do our own things without consideration of others? Now is this to say that war is bad and we should never declare war as a nation? Not at all. War is essential to this game and makes it fun. Everyone likes the massive amounts of TP and BH gold that can be amassed. However, we must be responsible in our actions.

As a result of past actions, the world tends to view us as an irresponsible loose-cannon country. We have a history of rogue proposals and random actions. We can declare war, but we must do so responsibly. In order to ensure our best chances, we should cooperate with our allies. We cannot decide to have our own wars at the expense of our allies. When we declare wars when our allies need us, it reflects badly on us. Everyone knows that we want to have our own wars, expand, and get more region bonuses. Its the objective of the game. We must pursue this objective with others in mind. Canada cannot continue to pass lulz proposals and make rogue actions. We must be a responsible member of the world community, supporting our allies when needed and declaring war when appropriate.

So here’s to a new tenet. Here’s to stability. Here’s to our allies. To responsibility. To progress. The Canadian Progressive Front will stand by this tenet as we use it, along with the rest of our tenets, to change Canada for the better and bring about Progress. Interested in helping the cause?
