CP Update - Day 1,253

Day 1,253, 08:25 Published in Ireland Ireland by Sean MacDiarmata

Citizens of Ireland,

This is a more detailed update of the recent workings of your government and how we ended up in our current circumstances.

For those of you who don't know what happened over the last few days please read my last article as it details the last few days and what happened Critical Times.

So since my last update we have seen ongoing war all over the world, Serbia and Russia continue to wage war in the Far East of Russian, Bulgaria are at war with FYRoM and the war in the Americas continue to rage on with no end in sight.

The PTO Issue

As planned, the PTO has been stopped for the month and Irish citizens enjoyed an election for the first time free of outside influence in the last few months. This was done thanks to a lot of hard work from senior Irish citizens. I would like to mention a few people who had a big part to play in this, IrishBhoy1967 was instrumental in the planning and deployment of our plan and without him this plan could have easily gone a different course, honestly I cant say enough how much I owe this man, Ireland is a lucky country to have a man so dedicated, loyal and with an in-depth knowledge of the game its insane. Yddub Emwolb & John Snuggles were key players to this operation, their selfless tanking showed how much they love this country. I was here for most of their tanking and they never stopped be it in any of our five battles but the main NI and Shannon ones. Without them the battle's may not have turned out the way we wanted, they are essential to this nation and we should all thank them for it. The IA command, they all did great be it Seanan, Reactionist, James Ferrin or Bockson. All did excellent work keeping on top of orders and suppling of our soldiers, without them the IA would not have been so active. They made sure every Irish soldier who applied for supplies got them and were straight out on the battlefield. Brian Boru for his work with our contacts abroad and constant feedback and information on the PTO'ers.

The soldiers, with you we would have relied on a few people and wouldn't have been able to win our battles. When we fight we fight as one, no tank is alone to fight by themselves we are united together for the greater good.

To our Canada, thanks for the help. It was not as smooth as we'd have liked but sure these kind of things never are, there is always something that crops up in the works. I want to thank them for their assistance, they had to deal with more than I wanted them to and never was there even the slightest complaint or hint of..oh now this is getting mental.

I want to say last but not least thanks and unlucky to Alfagrem this soldier tanked like a caged tiger and done it all by himself. I know there was a number of us on this side who wanted to put a few hits in with him just to say, here man we know what your going through. To the UK I say (bar what I want to but wont) help this man, he is a legend and I for one was honored to have fought against a selfless tank who just kept going. Your on the opp side by I salute you mate o7

So we have ended the PTO for this month and it will be up to the new president to do what they can and make the tough choices to defend Ireland from all threats PTO or otherwise. A lot of pressure and expectation lies on their shoulders so don't take this lightly.

Congratulations to all who became TD's and unlucky to those who didn't, there was a few people who I like to say are my friends who didn't get in and I know they will still be trying hard to help and improve Ireland.

Regards,
Marcus Suridius
