Hello Citizens of eIreland,

I am writing to you as I am running for the up coming Presidential elections and wish to go through a few reasons for my desicion to run.

In my eyes Ireland has been progressing very well, we have being gaining new players everyday and attacking regions which are usually not an option.

We have helped keep the UK down for months and pushed into Sweden which I haven't seen happening in a while. Our economy is doing alright in the circumstances and Sweet has been organising a few inititives like Goldfish which looks to help any Irish person take advantage of the Monetary Market.



Militay
Militarily Ireland is on a very good footing, we have a number of strong MU's and we continue to gain high strength players. A continuing thread like this and we may become a powerful nation in the region compared to our size, this thread must be assisted were ever possible.

Strategically we have always be are well placed at this point in time, we have US and Canada both allies (albeit strained relations with Canada) and our only enemy nation nearby is the UK who are not in a position to threaten us.

With our current borders are allies and enemies must be decided carefully and patiently. I don't see any reasons to make shortsighted decisions that can cost us our place on the world stage over the long run, I have never been known for rushing decisions its just not what I do.

Our current place I belive and im sure most eIrish players know it is with EDEN, they have been by our side for a long time and visa versa. Ireland is not known for quitting when something gets tough and I dont see why we should start know.




Reasons to Run
As most know I have no been active in the political scene for a good while, a good few months roughly but I have always been keeping eyes on what has been going on ingame.

After releasing my highly critical article about our current government and their disrepectful attitude to our long term allies, I was asked would I consider running for President. I had not run in a long time and was unsure whether to run but considering the fact of what was currently going on I agreed.

I have full confidence in my ability to help Ireland progress down a steady path no matter what may appear on the horizon, in my previous times as President I have dealt with some very hard times myself and our nation have come through the other side stronger. I beleive this will be the same over the next month if I am chosen to be the President of Ireland.



On the current article released by the ICA I am denying that there is any truth to it, its very release on the eve of the elections is highly suspect. I have a high level of respect for the people I worked with during Snakes term and had no reason to do anything to ruin that, it is not in my nature to steal. As a person who used to abuse his credit card for the sake of our eNation I believe people releasing articles like this think it will benefit them, in the long run if not the short it will cause them more problems than good. It shows that they can make stuff up like this about someone who worked so hard for them, paid off their debts in OJ's case, donated countless amounts of gold to them that it shows no honorable person should work with them.

After all the reason I always say I am here is for Ireland first, the same can clearly not be said for my rivals.

On the 5th of April I ask for your vote as President of Ireland, I have served our nation well and will do so again.
