CP Candidate Programs Part 2

Day 2,143, 22:22 Published in Japan Japan by William of Edenbury

Welcome once more to The Sword and the Sakura news!

This is the second part of my CP Candidate plans release. The last Article covered the Exterior Ministries (Defense, Foreign Affairs, and Security), while today's article will cover the Interior Ministries (Finance, Education, Culture and History, and Internal Affairs). I'll start out with the simpler programs and end with the revival concept of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Ministry of Finances:
The plans for this Ministry are pretty simple. We need to continue the recovery from the Mitsunami war and the simultaneous tournament that pushed the prices of goods to sickeningly high levels. I do want to explore the possibilities of creating some payroll programs to encourage players to work in some of the more time consuming government and military jobs, but with this Ministry in particular, every move needs to be well evaluated before hand.

Ministry of Education
The MoE was running well this term and I would like to continue its functioning with only minor tweaks here and there. The only large function I will definitely have this Ministry working on is a joint project with the Ministry of Defense. The second phase of the MoD's supply program reformation will begin next term and require a good bit bit of activity from the soldiers to complete. For this reason I would like to see the MoE and MoD come out with a manual for the soldiers detailing their responsibilities, how the chain of command works, and other duties. The key point of this manual will be organizing the information in a comprehensible form to keep the Military nice and efficient without mass confusion in the ranks.

A second more tentative project will also be debated. The creation of a simplified guide book to the eJapan government. This guide would give an overall view of the government positions and responsibilities so that younger players who are typically daunted by the seeming complexity of politics can feel more confident in getting involved.

Ministry of Culture and History
The MoCH will be one of the Ministries participating in the immigration program detailed in the previous article. As mentioned before, its responsibility will be creating the presentation of our country that the rest of the eWorld will see.

However, I also would like to create new awards and Role play possibilities. Me and some of my potential Ministers are already working on a simple award set that should pass congress' infamously gridlocked review of MoCH programs. The currently discussed programs and awards are being reviewed for consistency with past events and so I cannot describe them yet as we will be tweaking some and throwing out others.

Ministry of Internal Affairs
Alongside the Immigration Program, the revival and retooling of the Ministry of Internal Affairs would be one of the biggest changes in my term. As I envision it, the MoIA would essentially become an investigations unit. The primary responsibilities of this Ministry would be tracking down and reporting multi account to the game admins and investigating allegations of corruption and illegal activity in eJapan. At this point though I would like to make very clear that the MoIA will not have any power to prosecute or punish. They will only be an information gathering force that will relay their findings to the appropriate entities, be it congress, the game admins, or the cabinet. Entrance criteria for this Ministry will be even more detailed and stringent than the other Ministries. As such I have already started the selection process of younger players that are largely politically unaffiliated to fill the ranks of the investigations team. The MoIA can be a powerful tool for clearing our country of many of the problems that plague it. As such I am deliberately looking for team members that will work for the countries good, rather than seeking advantage for their particular Political Party or Military Unit.

And that's it for my plans if I am elected Country President of eJapan. Thank you for reading through all that text and remember to vote for me if you want to see these programs and plans implemented 🙂
