Country Top Tens #14

Day 2,291, 09:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by The Equalist

Here we are at the 14th edition of Country Top Tens. As the balance of power in alliances begin to become more clear, the extreme swings in multiple countries seen in previous weeks become less apparent, although there still are some major developments. Another quiet week in population growth, although an apparent baby boom for the UK might actually be a cause for alarm.

While the top ten most powerful nations did not have as many major swings as the last couple of weeks, it still is a volatile and sensitive situation. By far the most significant difference is that Romania collapsed as quickly as it rose to power. Last week, it shot up to #1, but now has fallen to 9th, having less power than at any other time in recent history. As a result, Serbia regains its position as the most powerful nation, but only with minimal gains from last week. Meanwhile, the once powerful Poland falls down to 11th. The UK has become more stable, as the wars in Scandinavia and Belgium turned into a stalemate.

Population shifts are mixed, but overall are stable. There are two notable exceptions to this, as both the United States and the United Kingdom appear to be having a baby boom. But in regards to the UK, this is not good news. It confirms the fears that our country is under a PTO from hostile forces. We will all be keeping a close eye on this situation.

That’s all for Country Top Tens this week. Stay tuned later today for a special announcement!
