Country Problems (For the people trying to understand)

This is an article explaining to less clued-in citizens why other citizens are so angry.

There are 2 separate situations, almost unrelated. But only connected by Miyagiyoda.

RUSSIA
Miyagiyoda was approached by Russia because Russia is currently Wiped by Hungary and TWO (Green)


I'm unsure how the deal was worked out and the amount was settled on. But Russia is paying 40 Gold for every region they rent as well as any compensation for us losing congress. Miyagiyoda sees this as valuable because one of the regions is a duplicate resource, meaning we "Technically" gain nothing from having it.

-People like myself are upset about this for a few reasons. Most of us didn't have a clue that it was being considered until Russia had the Air Strike in place. We are used to CP's who don't inform the public, but Miyagiyoda promised to be different.

-We are also upset by the vote that confirmed this would happen. There was an in-game PM vote that only included 17 of our current 30 congress members. We feel that since Miyagiyoda preached acceptance as well as inclusion that he should have included the full congress for this vote.

-This happens as many of us are already upset about renting 5 regions to Brazil. We are already discontent with renting regions, so why add more?

-40 Gold per region is what Brazil pays us currently. We are already not happy about that, why would we accept that same small amount from another country that isn't also offering us "Help and Protection" on top of rent money?


BRAZIL
Recently we wanted to start a Training War vs Brazil. Our soldiers need some fights and we would get that. As Brazil is currently in its own wars, they decided that they didn't want to deal with us as well. So they declined.

Following that, We asked for Western Cape back, offering them a deal so that we could have a Training War (or something) with Uruguay. The deal included us paying them for days they were without full bonus. This was going to be good and most were okay with it. However Brazil has a seemingly Majority Military Unit, CAT that plays by their own rules and doesn't care about us. This group prevented us from winning WC multiple times and we were mad.

The Pot was already stirred and we were looking for new ways to oppose Brazil, reaching out for a solution.

Instead of finding the solution though, Miyagiyoda offered our regions to a large Nation that is friends with Brazil and would not attack them.

And now we've come to a full circle.

We are mad because we have been working very hard with and without the Government at ideas to free South Africa from Brazil without being wiped, since the country has repeatedly expressed that they don't Natural Enemy Brazil for fear of being wiped. We have kept the country in mind (There's a reason I didn't NE Brazil during my CP term) yet when big decisions are made, we feel like our cares and concerns are being left out.

Hopefully this is an unbiased opinion of the situation showing what is going on in South Africa. After hearing Our reasoning to deals that have been made I hope you will make the decision for yourself as to what you think is right. Make your own decisions based on the information presented.
