A PaPP smear follow-up
In my last article, the thoroughly enjoyable Cottus has a PaPP smear, I was going to include a segment about how Paul Hamon's newpaper PaPP eAustralia Jobs has an extraordinary 586 subscribers, compared to my newspaper having just 439.
The key to 586 subscribers?
PaPP eAustralia Jobs has two articles, both which simply show the jobs available in eAustralia. This is hardly an effort worthy of getting over halfway to Media Mogul, since it merely is information freely available (and almost as easily available) on the Job Market. With a rich, rich taste of sour grapes in my mouth, I boldly claim....
Oi! I should have more subscribers!
In this, my 85th article I ask you - do I deserve more than a 5 subscriber-per-article ratio? If I had the same 293 subscriber-per-article ratio as PaPP eAustralia jobs, I'd have 24,905 subscribers! Hey! I want that kind of success!
So now onto some news and other handy stuff...
The NAP Smear
It's not a smear at the NAP itself. I do understand that 100 gold per MPP + losing our damned NBA gold + Indo being the war-crazed madmen of the world = a simple NAP that says we dont attack each other.
The Smear is at anyone who thinks patti11 is not of sound character from this point forward.
A tribute to Awesome - patti11
Ok, so his avatar reeks of teen spirit, but whilst being the youngest "big time" player in eAustralia, he's one of the most serious & committed. He's had 3 excellent terms as Prime Minister and many more as a Minister.
But honestly, one of the coolest and rarest things you can do is admit when you are wrong. He did this in the NAP debate and I tell you... it's generally a sure sign someone simply isn't in this for the egotrip when they show this kind of character trait.

It's a 1-page snapshot of the state of the nation - my fave being the wellness indicators & military ranks - I've started keeping records of some of these figures so I'll have some analysis soon!

Xerenity of PaPP currently leads the elections with tha whopping 47 votes in NSW. WOW! Who is Xerenity?
Xerenity is a 1-time Senator, so lets look at his 1st month.

The 4 posts in the Senate & Political discussion combined wouldn't make a wall of text. Once again, PaPP = success where it's not due!!!
I've got nothing against Xerentiy - his 4 posts make sense - but 1 post per week and that grants you 45 votes?

Derek Apollyon, one of eAustralia's hardest-working and longest-serving Senators has just 2 vote in NT and at this stage, won't be elected into The Senate!

Oh, and Xerenity was apparently off fighting and such during his first term too... Don't be too harsh mate. He was at least contributing. There's plenty of people historically who've gotten over the line for doing Sweet FA.
I know you're old school and everything, but old school doesn't always = Right. I've heard the criticisms of Xerenity and I've heard his defence, and I think you're off the mark.
So he's got 45 votes? I for one, am happy for him. So it'd be nice if DA got in. There are plenty of people I could say that about.
Most of this article is vote-worthy. The Xerenity bit is Full-of-Fail(TM)... sorry matey.

as for Derek currently not being voted is a travesty, some things you forgot to add were: 1 time PM, he built our forums and continues to maintain it, and he is one of the most cool headed individuals I know
as for the subscribers, PaPP ran a food contest, when you subscribe your sent q1 food. It seems he deleted the articles
I'll be putting out an article after reset looking at the election, explaining tactics used, what could have been used and why some non-active senators get elected.
The key is the "2-Clickers".

47 votes for Xerenity is fine coz it means less wasted votes being spread around to send even more less than active senators into senate.

47 votes for Xerenity is a good thing for all other parties as half of them are wasted as he is already secure

well CA i'm a subscriber and i will never subscribe to the popularity bandwagon of PaPP.
Why do the veterans whine so much? Why do they believe only their old school friends are worth anything to eAustralia?
No matter what they do they complain! They try and take over the PaPP... they fail, they complain about how our membership votes but mostly the just keep yelling that if you're a young eCitizen you must be stupid and/or ignorant.
