Hello,

I am writing to you today to announce my candidacy for TUP Party President. On starting the game six months ago I joined UKRP. The reason for this was a certain player (hello TheDark) messaged me in game and quickly got me onto IRC. There I met friendly players that seemed to really enjoy each other’s company. I believe that there needs to be more of a push here at TUP to get new players onto IRC. It is a great way to discuss ideas or just generally have fun. ERepublik is a political game and it does have economic and military aspects but one of the other main aspects of the game is the social side. I have made a lot of friends through IRC and I believe it has made my experience of eRepublik much better.



This will be one of my main aims for next term. The other of course, as always, will be recruitment. I have a lot of spare time right now to invest in PM’ing new players and such like. Recruitment takes times and perseverance and different parties have different methods for recruiting. I believe that it is fundamentally the Party President’s job to recruit members to the party. For this reason I will not be leading any recruitment team this term but instead taking on the role myself.

I will not be giving anybody the roles of Secretary General, Councillor and Spokesman either as I believe these are all duties of the PP. The only role I plan to take advantage of is vice party president. This person will help me increase TUP’s media presence as articles are not my strong point. If anyone wishes to fulfill this role please contact me ingame or on IRC.



The only other issue I think I need to cover is congress. Priority will be given to those players who are active and hopefully on IRC. I do understand however that not everyone likes IRC for whatever reason so it will not be a necessity but it would be preferable. In recent months we have done extremely well to achieve 13 seats and I hope to keep this up in the coming month. New members to congress will receive a small guide through PM to help them get to grips with what being a congressman entails.

In conclusion I believe communication is key to a great term. I am usually on IRC so if anyone would like to talk to me then you can do so there or just send a PM. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you will decide to vote for me on the 15th!
