Day 1,451, 14:56 Published in Pakistan Pakistan by Prince Imran Khan

I want to talk to all of you about a different topic.
Iqbal.
Iqbal’s father Shaikh Noor Muhammad Said, “In a vast ground there are many people standing. In the sky a very colorful bird is flying over those people. The bird was so captive and charming that everyone was trying his best to get that special bird. Eventally, that beautifull bird ended his flight and came right into my bosom.”…In Noor Muhabmmad’s mind the interpretation of his dream was ” That a boy will born in my home , who will have leading success and reputation in serving Islam.

A Boy was born on Friday, 3rd ذی قعد 1294 Hijjri ( November, 9th, 1877). The Boy was named Iqbal.

I would like to write here some Poems/Quotes.. by this Amazing person.
I hope you enjoy and get a meaning out of this.
Ay tairay La Huthee, Is rizaq say maut achee,
Jis rizaq say aati ho parvaaz main kothahee"

Translated it comes to mean:
"O Bird of Paradise! Death is better than a living,
The scope of flying to which, you have to give in"

“Ae Tundi-e-Baad-e-mukhalif sey na ghabra aye uqaab
yeh to chalti hai tujhe ooncha urane kay liye”

Don’t be afraid of flying against the wind, oh Eagle,
It only blows to make you fly even higher

"Khuda ne aaj tak us qaum ki haalat naheen badlee
Na ho jisko khyal aap apni haalat ke badalne ka"

Translation:
Allah does not change the condition of a people/nation unless they bring about change in their own selves."

From Allama Iqbal’s Javid-Nama (translation by Arthur J. Arberry.)

The poor man is a fire, rulership and power imperial are straw;
a naked sword is ample enough for the august pomp of kings.

The drumming of the dervish, Alexander’s clamorous vanity
the one is the rapture of Moses, the other the Samiri’s conjuring.

The one slays with a glance, the other slays with an army;
the one is all peace and amity, the other is all war and wrangling.

Both were conquerors of the world, both sought immortality,
the one by the guidance of violence, the other guided by love.

Bring the hammer-blow of the dervish, break the rampart of Alexander;
renew the ancient wont of Moses, break the glamour of wizadry!

"But only a brief moment
is granted to the brave
one breath or two, whose wage is
The long nights of the grave."

“Self Realization”
'Apnay man mei doob kar pa ja suragh e zindagi
Tu agar mera nahi banta, na ban. Apna tou ban'!
[Dive within yourself and find the secret of life
If you dislike following me, then don't! But at least listen to your own self]

“The power of words”
“A mathematician cannot but a poet can enclose infinity in a line.”

“Responsibility”
“Give up waiting for the Mehdi(Messiah) – the personification of power. Go and create him.”

“Actions Versus Words”
'Iqbal bara updaishak hay, man baton mei moh leta hay
Guftar ka ghazi ban tou gaya, kirdaar ka ghazi ban na saka'

Iqbal is very foreboder; he spellbinds people’s hearts with his words
He became a good warrior with words, but couldn’t become one with his actions

“Justice”
“Justice is an inestimable treasure; but we must guard it against the thief of mercy.”

“Hope”
Millat ke saath Raabita Ustavaar rakh,
Pevasta reh Shajar se, Ummeed e Bahaar rakh!
[Maintain your Contact with the Nation
Stick to the Tree, Hoping for Spring]

“Ideas”
“Individuals and nations die; but their children, i.e. ideas, never die.”

“Sin and Virtue”
“Sin has an educative value of its own. Virtuous people are very often stupid.

“Science”
“Classical physics has learnt to criticize its own foundations. As a result, the kind of materialism which it originally necessitated is rapidly disappearing and the day is not far off when Religion and Science may discover hitherto unsuspected mutual harmonies.”

“Life”
Bartar az andesha e sood o zayaan hay zindagi
Life is beyond the apprehension of gain and loss

Consider yourself lucky if you understood the essence of Iqbal.
