Congressional Platform, contests, and recruitment

Day 485, 19:30 Published in Japan Malaysia by Al Dente

First I'll be running as the Tequila Fitness Club candidate in Hokkaido again.

I'd rather not make you read yet another one of these platform articles (there will be many more soon I'm sure) that sounds like every other and is completely forgettable, but I'm about to anyway.

I believe that the things we need to work on in Japan now are as follows:

We need more people, and the only way to is to recruit more. Basically we need more recruitment, and more effective recruitment. I'll get into this a bit more below.

We need more activity. More people of course brings more activity, but there are other things we can do as well.

The emperor idea would be good, but it has brought a lot of argument, and not a lot of progress. I still support this in general, but I'm afraid the time for it simply may not be now.

I believe Angrr's article competition was a great idea, so I'll sort of steal it but in a more broad way. I'll award 5 Gold to whoever can come up with the most engaging activity in Japan. I don't know what it will be, that's why I'm contracting out the work.

Furthermore, I think that a better military would offer a lot in terms of activity. I'm not suggesting that we go and say, invade Mexico, but if we can send our troops abroad more, will be a a stronger nation for it in terms of both activity and military strength.

Now, as far as recruitment goes, we can do better. We, myself included, need to publish more articles abroad, and we need to personally PM people and invite them to our country. Now then one problem we face with recruitment articles is that they will simply get drowned out in the noise, especially in the US. Articles only stay in the most recent there for less than an hour. We need to organize our efforts.
