Congressional Happenings - Virginia

Day 557, 06:44 Published in USA USA by Dmalicious

Citizens of Virginia, as I promised in my campaign, I shall be setting up my very own press office in the eMerica Gazette. I encourage all Virginians to subscribe to my newspaper if you haven't already done so to get news on what's going on in congress and what I am doing there for you.

I shall release my voting record and what I have been doing in congress on every day divisible by 5 beginning today, May 30. This means that the next publication of my voting record and congressional activity will be published on June 5.

Now that that's been settle😛

Alliance with Malaysia
Vote: Yea
Reason: Negotiations had already taken place regarding the MPP, so it had already been approved by the President and State Department

Reason: I had stated that it was my belief that German territories should be liberated militarily, however, President Scrabman has convinced me the only way to help Germany is politically, not militarily, and I voted accordingly.

Congressional Happenings

So, it is my first five days in congress and I can say it is very fun and great to work with the amazing people of the 18th Congress. Thank you again, Virginia, for sending me there!

Since my election, I've taken up multiple duties in congress. I have applied for and received a seat on the Congressional Infrastructure Committee to continue the work Senator sabotage75 had done in advancing hospital and DS placement strategies throughout the country.

Also, I have been diligently working with the members of the Congressional Government Oversight Committee to declassify several documents (rea😛 forum threads) into the public domain under the provisions authorized by the Public Disclosure Act. This will allow you, the citizens, to monitor what congress has been doing and better gauge our effectiveness as your country's leaders.

I'm still getting the hang of things, but I feel confident that my next few days will be as productive as my first few. My only regret is that with the responsibility of congress behind me I cannot create as many informative articles in the eMerica Gazette as I want to, but rest assured, Virginia, I'll always have your interests at heart.

Sincerely
Your Senator,
Dmalicious
