Congress Performance and Participation Tracker - Nov/Dec.

Day 762, 23:05 Published in Ireland Ireland by DashRiprock

Hello everyone, its election time again and therefore time for this month's PPT.

For those of you that dont know, this spreadsheet linked below shows a couple of ways of measuring whether the congress members that you voted for have indeed been serving this country as their job demands.

The spreadsheet shows how many votes a member received, how many posts they made on the forums during the current term, and how many times they showed up to vote when a vote was called for in the Dail.

This month the spreadsheet has a quirk in it. I ran into an error where the forums website was not reporting post totals correctly. Some people appeared to be going backwards! I have marked a few people on the spreadsheet whose post totals were obviously incorrect. As for the others, you should take them all with some doubt, except those that are zero, there were no errors associated with those that didnt post at all.

If you feel a mistake has been made somewhere, theres no need to blow up and throw mud. Simply PM me and Ill recheck whatever it is you feel isnt correct.

Remember that the object here is to find the people that most completely abandoned their responsibilities. Dont waste time arguing over two or more TDs because they didnt make every single vote or didnt post 500 times, that is not the point. Find the ones that NEVER showed up at all and remember them on election day.

Being a Congress member is important, and the more good people we have involved, the better this country will run.

To the Party Presidents I say again..YOU..are the front lines in this battle. You can make sure your candidate lists are not stocked with those that dont participate, and YOU can let your candidates know what is expected of them. Party Presidents, if you want to PM me a list of candidates for this month's election, I can look back at previous spreadsheets and tell you about past performance.

Good luck to all candidates this month, and I hope you are prepared to do your part.
