Congress Manifesto - July 2009

Day 609, 07:58 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Catterick

Hello citizens of London

After careful consideration I have decided to officially announce my candidacy for re-election into Congress.

Allow me to begin my introducing myself:

Who is Catterick?

I am a current member of congress for London, underminister of entertainment in the Ministry of Home Affairs and also the councillor of media and entertainment for The London Regional Council. I am also a member of The Unity Party, the eUK's 2nd largest political party.

What have I done since the last election?

In my last congress manifesto I made a pledge to support the London region wholeheartedly, and that is what I have done.

Working with my colleagues in The London Regional Council I have reached out to many new citizens of the region offering not just help and advice, but also providing food, weapons and gifts so that people can get back on their feet and contribute to the eUK.

Since being elected as a congress representative for London our regional forums have seen a swell of activity. There are now more people registered on the national eUK forums from the London region, taking part in discussions and becoming a part of the community. These are the kind of actions that I believe will make our country stronger.

On a more national level I was appointed as underminister of Entertainment in the Ministry of Home Affairs under the guidance of now TUP party president, Mr Woldy. In this role I am tasked with creating, organising and promoting games that will galvanise our nation. You can read more about this here:

I'm a firm believer that a thriving community is the basis of a great country, and building a closer community both locally and nationally is one of my primary aims.

Why vote for me?

I believe what the eUK needs during this next term are members of congress who will be highly active, as this is the core of being an effective representative of the nation. As this Ministry of Home Affairs report show, I am highly active in forum votes with a 100% attendance:

However, a high activity level means nothing if you're simply a 'sheep voter'. This is not what I stand for. I take great pride in reading every discussion, contributing where necessary, and making a well informed decision. By voting for me you are voting for a dedicated congressman with the eUK's interests firmly at heart.

I'd like to thank the citizens of London for placing their faith in me last term, and I hope I have done them a good service. I hope that this faith remains and that you will vote for me again on the 25th.

Thanks for reading
