I managed to get a few applications and answers from some of our candidates. Unfortunally I can't use a spoiler. I asked the candidates to write a application and answer some questions.

Malbekh

Malbekh is a very old individual in RL who has an obscene amount of experience in pointless RPG's and MMO's. He is currently Commander of a Military Unit called The Malcontents which includes a stellar cast of citizens only because he has incriminating evidence on all of them.

An occasional Congressman, he is usually found making acerbic comments in the PM channel trying to appeal to the senses of the masses, but usually failing dismally.

Questions:

Why should people elect you to Congress?
If people don't want to NE Poland by ourselves, putting me in would prevent it from happening.

What do you plan to do if you are elected?
Continue to try and beat sense into the senseless

Finally, what do you stand for?
Anything as long as I get a hefty bribe

Mossy Hayes

My name is Mossy Hayes. I have lived in Cork, eIreland since Sept 05, 2010. I, like so many others, am a hard working eCitizen of this nation. I have recently returned to Erepublik having been 2-clicking for a full 12 months due to a very busy RL. I am also a proud member of the ICA.
Previously I have held two terms in congress one of which I worked in the MoFA as an Ambassador to eAustralia. During my tenure in this position I was of great assistance to the eAustralian government as at that time they were under heavy siege from external forces and most of their territories were overtaken. I helped provide them with much needed assistance funds and weapons. This further strengthened the ties between our two great nations.
Since returning to my e-life, I have been hugely disappointed by the way eIreland has become so down trodden due to the lack of imagination and bread and butter mistakes of previous presidential and congressional administrations. On day 1,792 I announced my candidacy for the upcoming congress elections. As a member of The fock you looking at party (PLEASE JOIN TO STRENGTHEN OUR CAUSE) I wish to do what is needed and work with other congressional members to get eIreland back on its feet and secure.

Why should people elect you to Congress?
I want to represent the fine eCitizens of this nation to ensure that their voices, thoughts, wants & needs do not go unheard. I want to ensure that the security of the coffers of our nation do not remain unguarded. I want to ensure that we get that buzz back into our elives. I want the best interests of this nation’s eCitizens kept intact.

What do you plan to do if you are elected?
If elected, I will do whatever is needed and work with other congressional members to get eIreland back on its feet and secure.

Finally, what do you stand for?
I stand for transparency, truth, justice and for all eIrish citizens.

Hey guys, I'm new to the elections, first time! I have played in a game called TribalWars.net some of you may of heard of it- Fun game! During this game, I have learnt several skills including team-work, management, communication skills, decision-making and leadership. I would use these skills to help out eIreland and the eIrish people. I am in the ICA and the fock you looking at party. I run The Irish Post and post daily. I employ a good few people, pay good too(28 IEP).

Questions:

Why should people elect you to Congress?
I think I would be a good addition to Congress as I can bring fresh ideas and thinking to Congress. I can also support those in need of jobs and loans(I buy Gold!).

What do you plan to do if you are elected?
Help all citizens in eIreland to achieve their full potential and have fun-obviously. I am also great at keeping informed, I always read the articles in eIreland.

Finally, what do you stand for?
I stand for equality, justice and honesty.

Hello, i am Mojo, Alan Bstard 😃 I started playing this game 3 years ago while it was still cool...i liked war module and mostly economic module where i made bunch of money(gold)...All in all game was great,i met bunch of great people here and in real life meetings. I was also many times congress member in Netherland,Ireland and Croatia. Currently i don't like erep and i will stop playing when i spend all my gold on training...game sucks and it is only for gold buyers and idiots

i will try to remove ireland from eden if i get elected because i hate eden from time when they betrayed bulgaria

I am RL Irish and am extremely loyal to my country in RL and on games like this, I would like to have another chance to serve my country in whatever way I possibly can which I could do in congress, I am the Vice President of the IFP , a party that is quite close to my heart, we are a party that stands for freedom,equality and above all brotherhood.The party has been doing significantly well under moo and I've got high hopes of our new PP.

Why should people elect you to Congress?
People should elect me to congress because I am a man of action, I want the citizens of this country to know that I am there for them to ask questions about anything and I would do my best to answer them.I also believe that being a congress member puts me in a position to be an active citizen and being in congress is something I've grown to love and hope I can be re-elected next term.

What do you plan to do if you are elected?
If I was to be elected I would try become an active voice against political corruption and the selling of CS, I would also like to help the new citizens to eIreland and help persuade the e-Irish abroad to come home and participate in the building of a happier and corruption-free eIrish society.

Finally, what do you stand for?
I am a member of the Irish freedom Party which means that I agree with their basic fundamentals , ie. I believe that every citizen is equal regardless to where they are from, or what XP they are , everybody is equally important to this country.
I also believe that people have a right to express their opinion and be represented by Congressmen who actually want to be the representative of the people instead of going after the 5 gold, the congressmen should also update what's going on in congress so that the general populace are well-informed.

Liam Tatlock

I'm Liam Tatlock and I've been with the Independent Labour Party almost from the beginning of my eIrish life as they were and still are a good fit for my political beliefs. I've been a Congress member for the last three elections and hope to add to that this term.

A Congress member should be active and vote regularly on the proposals based on belief and party ideals, which are normally identical for me. I voted against the war with Poland and against the impeachment calls this term as well as in the numerous other votes called.

Why should people vote for me? Well, the changes to the system mean they're voting for party rather than individual, but I've always been active here and on IRC and I've always stuck to my word and represented eIreland to the best of my ability and I remain committed to the party and the belief that it's the best choice for the country

Seamus Kellie

I am Seamus Kellie, a refuge from NationStates. I had many enjoyable experiences with that game and learned quite a bit, but now it is time for a new season. I joined at the beginning of this month by the invitation of a friend. He asked those willing in our region, the equivalent of nations here, to join eIreland and help contribute to its cause. It is not hard to draw parallels between that region and this nation, or to see the critical situation that eIreland is in. Our region had faced many crises, surmounting most, but ultimately succumbing to bitter infighting and unsuspected corruption. We now have an opportunity to deal with these very same issues in eIreland. If they are ignored, then our nation will only struggle with them later when they are even more entangled in our parties. I have a lot to learn, but I also have a lot to offer with new perspectives and external ideas among prior experience with political simulations. An Irish American once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country,” but I have to ask my country for the opportunity to do for it, what I failed to do for my region. I am Seamus Kellie, and I am fighting to end this cycle of frustration for my new and beloved nation.

Why should people elect you to congress?

I wear my heart AND my agenda on my sleeve. So what you see is what you get.

What do you plan to do if you are elected?

I will work to solve our issues with our financial system, both with security and solvency. I also want to work on establishing a more effective foreign affairs system. In the midst of the first robbery, we also had another crisis, eUK ended our treaty and invaded the territory we had in our possession. eIreland was in turmoil and its citizens in the dark as to what eUK's and EDEN's intentions were. There was no reason for this.

Finally, what do you stand for?

The rule of law, that is, enforcing our laws equally and fairly. Basically, say what you mean and mean what you say. Otherwise, everything that Congress and eIreland does is meaningless.
