Congress Canditature Statement

Hello all,

My name is Hans Rienveld. I was born into the New World on day 895 which makes me quite a young citizen. Despite this I want to announce my candidature for Congress here.

Why?

People who attend the forum and the eUNL channel will know I have been very active since my first day in the New World. Since I've joined I have become:

* State Secretary for Recruitment & Coaching in current government
* Member of the eUNL Awards Committee
* Member of the LSD Interior & Information workgroup
* Member of the LSD Foreign Affairs workgroup

This shows you that although I might not have lot of experience, I do already have everything to be a successful member of congress.

I will also promise that I will participate in every debate and consequent vote.

On top of that, I think I am exactly what eUNL needs right now: some fresh blood!

The current government are on the right track but I want to ensure we maintain this momentum.

To reinvigorate eUNL and create a better future for this country we need to be able to draw new people into the political process and engage ordinary citizens so they feel involved.

This also applies to Foreign Affairs: Yes, of course we need to be realistic but also realistically ambitious about our role in the New World. We should more mirror RL Netherlands who are always punching above their weight.

So if you want to be proud again of your country and want to believe in a meaningful future for this beautiful country then vote for me on the 25th!
