I have recently been elected into congress, and I thank all the voters who voted for me, and I promise to listen to your ideas! PM me any suggestions you have! Anyway, a lot has happened recently, so this article will be divided into three parts...
- Congress News
- The Swiss Brainslug Party
- The Upcoming Presidential Elections!

First,

Congress News
As most of you know, the congressional elections have just come and went, with a few resistance members as myself winning seats, but mostly a disappointment. One reason was that we were very unorganized. Some good Candidates got 20 votes (Lynari), and others got none! Here is a what JNArno had to say, Overall, we have the same number of vote, overall, the Resistance group won 15 seats, against 24 for the Shaolins Whether that is quite accurate or not matters little, it is a very good point! Also, we were not quite ready for Graubunden, causing many Shaolins to get into Congress with 0 votes. Clifford Burns began: "If you have a guy A with 2 votes and a guy B with 2 votes, who win?" To which Penguin Replie😛
The Russian next door with 0 votes. As shown by this election.

Anyway, this was a terrible failure in the resistance's part, which is the fault of many of us, as nobody in the UPoS realized that their party wasn't in the top 5 and couldn't run...
Well, Moving Forward, We must continue to try to preserve Switzerland and Democracy until our next chance at Congress, hopefully we will learn from these disastrous results!

The Swiss Brainslug Party
There is not a whole lot to say, and it is mostly old news, but this is so easy, As we all know, Icewood has taken over The White Lion Order, and changed it to The Swiss Brainslug Party. I admire the Futurama reference, but decided to do some investigating!

I have taken the artistic license to write out the part about the Brain Slug Party,
There is a Brain Slug Party on Earth, naturally organized by citizens of Earth with brain slugs attached to them. Its political goals include awarding unreasonably high subsidies to the Brain Slug Planet and attaching brain slugs to "the working man"- and basically everyone else on Earth. And another important note, Fortunately, brain slugs are not very intelligent and can be easily removed without harming the possessed person Sound familiar?

Anyway, moving on,

The Upcoming Presidential Elections!
Okay, not that anything before has been unbiased, actually I'm a pretty biased person, but this part may be biased by the fact that a) I'm in the Swiss Resistance, and b JNArno promised me a cabinet position! That's right, I will be his VMoE! Making that first letter bigger, vMoE! So, Vote JNArno! There are many reasons for this, besides the fact that I am going to be in his cabinet 😛, One, he is not Shaolin. To me, that is a big plus! And, he is a competent and experienced politician!
I believe this is the ticket is-
This is fairly ironic, that because of the UPoS Snafu(I love that word 😛) Penguin (The running VP) is not in congress, while I am. Food for thought...
Another point to note is that Penguin in fact won the Primaries, so here is a little humour from Stranger Here Myself-
