Congratulations

Congratulations!

In the words of the great Billy Joel, honesty is such a lonely word, everyone is so untrue.

I have never done anything but work my ass off for Ireland. I couldn't count the hours - sometimes even ending up staying awake all night working away. I bothered because I had faith in e-Ireland, in her citizens, and in the people given the responsibility to oversee this nation's interests. Recently I founded a party, with very noble aims - honesty, hard work, working with other parties for the nations good, activity. It was a reaction to the partisan party politics which has always dogged e-Ireland. I wanted to get away from it all, and focus on helping Ireland. But you guys are hell-bent on tearing yourselves apart, and ye drag each other down further each day. The media is hopping with critical articles, and counter critical articles, whilst most people are sat on their arses doing nothing. I spent hours writing up a very detailed economic plan for the good of the country, put it in the Public Dáil for both discussion and debate. Guess how many votes? 6. Just six. The rest of you were too busy out killing each other to even care or be aware of what is actually going on. I have a real life, with a new house, and a new job, and a wonderful girlfriend, friends, family and sports to keep me going. This is a fantastic game, it's the people who make it, but it's the people who ruin it as well.

I set up a party where people wouldnt be labelled. What did most people go and do? Label it. There's just something so fundamentally contradictory there that it led me to realise that no matter what I do, or how hard I tried, people won't work together. Why? I couldn't give you a simple answer. Lots of theories, certainly, but no answers. The last time I had to leave was because RL offered me no other choice. This time I have to leave because you people offer me no choice. I have a low tolerance for ***** in real life, and thats extends here too. I've put up with it for far too long, envisaged a way out of it with Independent Voices only for you lot to try and drag my ideas down to your level. I respect a lot of people here, but I can count on the fingers of one hand the people I can actually trust and I have gotten to know here. Actually, I can name them: Uaithne and Grainne Ni Mhaille. Uaithne of course is highly respected. A lot of people give Grainne a hard time. She has stayed up with me many a night pondering how to solve Ireland's problems. She has done more work for Ireland that most of you combined. She is, more so than any resource, company or gold, the greatest asset this nation has. Most of you choose not to see that, because she desires higher standards for Ireland than you do. Give the woman the respect she deserves, even if you won't afford others it. Grainne, even though I am dying, will you e-marry me? Because I e-love you.

Take a good look around. Do you like what you see? Take a good look at yourself. Are you copping out or copping on?

It ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe
It don't matter, anyhow
An' it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe
If you don't know by now
When your rooster crows at the break of dawn
Look out your window and I'll be gone
You're the reason I'm trav'lin' on
Don't think twice, it's all right

It ain't no use in callin' out my name, gal
Like you never did before
It ain't no use in callin' out my name, gal
I can't hear you any more
I'm a-thinkin' and a-wond'rin' all the way down the road
I once loved a country, a child I'm told
I give her my heart but she wanted my soul
But don't think twice, it's all right

I'm walkin' down that long, lonesome road, babe
Where I'm bound, I can't tell
But goodbye's too good a word,
So I'll just say fare thee well
I ain't sayin' you treated me unkind
You could have done better but I don't mind
You just kinda wasted my precious time
But don't think twice, it's all right

I could organise a whole load of things like the party, or the party company, or other projects I was working on, but that would just be so typical of me, I'm not going to do it. Step up to the plate guys, its time.
