OK here we go again. I have no idea how this article is going to turn out but I know it will be another masterpiece! Please go ahead and vote for it now while you can see the little vote thingy. It will save you time having to scroll back up. Let’s start off with some good news and see where it goes from there…
THE WORK TAX!!!
It finally got lowered to 8%. Not enough in my opinion but great job congress. Keep up the good work! Those that voted to cut the tax a bit deserve a big bowl of delicious…

This leads me into my rant for the day…
I honestly don’t know who Artela is and I don’t really care, but not hours after congress finally voted to lower the work tax she goes against protocol and without any discussion decides to propose raising it again. Aren’t bills supposed to be discussed before they are brought to a vote? The entitled elites in this country get a little grumpy when things don’t go their way I suppose, and this seems to be one of those times. I am even more distressed about the seventeen votes for this bill.
The results
Knowing full well that this proposal was a knee-jerk reaction to being on the losing side of a vote, seventeen of our “esteemed” congressmen voted for it anyway. Shame on all of you! This is the kind of $h*t that should drive all of the rest of us to drink. Ah f**k it I was going to drink anyway.
In other news there was some good old fashioned witch-hunting going on in the forums…

I haven’t been around long enough to know who is right or wrong on this one, but I do know that if someone was pissed off enough to start bitching about it, they should have done it a lot sooner. Not just when they started to feel threatened by other parties taking some power back.

Next subject. So far I am having a great time fighting with the bloody drunkards of Easy Company. They invited members of Bear Cavalry and The Socialist Freedom Party to join them for this week’s tournament. We are killing it y'all and we will enjoy lots of great rewards! These little honeys really like me in my EZC uniform by the way…
Seriously though, thanks to all the really cool folks there that have made all of us visitors feel welcome! Many bloody and dirty hugs to all of you!
On yet another completely different note here at the Socialist Freedom Party we had a discussion about changing our name to something a little more tame to help recruiting. After quite a bit of talk, we decided to proudly keep our name unchanged and not bow to the pressure to conform. There are those out there that shy away from the word “socialist” as something dark and evil. We all know however, that there is nothing sinister about our party or what we believe. We decided not to pander to the masses but rather gladly invite those who are willing to stand up for what they know is right. Feel free to be a little different and join us in our fight to give every citizen a voice.
The SFP also has a new congressman, Ghost of Tom Joad, congrats to him and thanks to The Black Sheep for working with us to throw him into that cesspool of corruption and filth. Good luck Ghost and we all hope you come out of it without too much damage. Here are a couple links to some of his incredible writing as well…

Lastly on a very happy note I am pleased to see that John Largo is running for President in July. Last month he lost by just a handful of votes and this July is his time. Please make your voice heard and vote for John Largo!

Artela is a great eAmerican and a good friend of mine. She is also a DJ at RadioStar.fm - the station I own.
The proposal was a LULZ proposal (confirmed when we were talking on the RadioStar TeamSpeak) and a bit of trolling (something I am proud to have shown her the ropes to).
Congress has gotten completely out of hand with their policing of each other, tbh... and the result is the division into two camps of Congress... which lead to the over-reaction of censoring someone who has done nothing but help eUSA.
It was started because of the witch hunt against The Black Sheep Party because they were the main proponents of lowering the WT. A couple of those who wanted to keep the WT high started acting like children and in the end, the witch hunt turned against them and Artela was put on the pyre.
In the end, pfeiffer and his loyal puppet, Kemal, are responsible for the current idiocy of congress and are indirectly responsible for getting one of their Congresspeeps (temporarily) censored. I doubt they will stop, however; until they make the entire USWP look like morons.
In some people's eyes, they've already lost any respect to be had for USWP.
I will not allow one or two or three people to make me dislike an entire party. Being in BSP, you should understand that.
Being in BSP, I understand that unfortunately, people do end up disliking an entire party over a grudge on a few.
There unfortunately seems to be no stopping it. And i get to hear both sides of it every day. 😛

I have seen a lot of candidates that I liked, give up after being that close.

Socialism is a creation of idealists who have no idea how human nature works. Socialists and communists have been responsible for more murders than any other group in history. That is why people shy away from your name. Having the socialist in the name of anything is much like having Ku Klux Klan in the name. People recognize the bad associated with the word and want nothing to do with it. Most don't realize that the socialist and communist parties in this game are merely named that for attention and to try to sound edgy. But then again this game is the only place in the history of the world where communes and socialism actually work.
I would argue that more people died under the banner of religion.
Socialism, like religion, is only a tool. It hasn't killed anyone.
Stalin and communism killed an estimated 20 to 60 million people depending on which source you use. Mao and communism killed an estimated 49 to 70 million people once again depending on the source. Kim Il Sung and communism killed about 1.6 million Koreans. Suharto the Indonesian communists killed 500,000 people. Ho Chi Min and communism killed 200,000. Castro and communism killed about 30,000 in Cuba. Also don't forget that the Nazis were a socialist party so you can throw the 15 million they are accused of in there too. That means well over 100 million people have been brutally murdered due to communism and socialism. I'm no fan of religion but even if you count the crusades, religion doesn't come anywhere close to that number. Also most of those killed in the name of religion were killed in wars. Those killed in the name of communism and socialism were either outright murdered for the cause of cruelly starved to death.

This is true. We have a megalomaniac who seeks to destroy and warp what took generations to build in the whitehouse now. A society is only as good as it's leaders. And at this point ours is very sick indeed.

Of course brother morningblur is blurring things for his or her own purposes, not least of which is confusing the history of socialism and communism. I would venture to say that Swedish and Norwegian socialism, for example, has improved, extended and perhaps even saved a few lives. The black book on communism is certainly worthy of attention, no argument there, but likewise so is the often un-mentioned black book on western capitalism and so-called 'democracy' (that is, democracy for the rich), to which we can allocate 100s of millions of deaths in India alone. And of course, this is a game. We can play at war and slaughter all we want, but not re-invent socialism? Oh. I think we can.

Communism and socialism by their very nature are destructive and punish hard work and good ideas. They also ignore human nature in trying to create a so called utopia. Why should a hard working inventor for example have his ideas taken and the wealth created by what he developed taken away and given to people who don't see fit to work as hard. Both communism and socialism encourage laziness and create legions of worthless people with their hands out constantly wanting more while contributing nothing but more mouths that have to be feed to society. The welfare and food stamp programs are good examples of this. Communism and socialism only work if the leeches of society have enough hard workers to take from. And that is where the system fails to account for human nature. It's against human nature to be ok with having the fruits of your labor taken and given away. There will never be enough producers in society who will freely go along with having their wealth taken and redistributed. That is the reason that communist and socialist governments turn to brutality and terror to force the producers to turn over their wealth. The only way to go against human nature is to use force to get the desired result. The brutal communist governments I named are glaring examples of that. Communism has been proven to not work and turn into brutality everywhere it has ever been attempted. Socialism is a kinder gentler communism and has fared a bit better but every country is suffering from the weight of the debt the socialist programs bring. At this point the only people left who believe in communism and socialism fall into two groups. The first group seeks power and uses the government handouts to basically buy the support of the uneducated masses in an attempt to both increase it's power and to stay in power. The second group is not dangerous to freedom and liberty like the first group, they are merely laughable.
The second group are idealists who have no grasp on reality and just don't comprehend human nature and how the real world works. They seek a utopia where every single person wants to share all that they have with every other person. Any person with even a small grasp of reality can see how ridiculous that ideal is. There is a better chance of rainbows and unicorns blowing out a budding communist's ass than there is a chance of mankind ever existing solely to help their fellow man.
