Disclaimer: Unfortunately I've had to rewrite the entire article due to the massive failiure of my PC, something involving a physical memory dump. Therefore this will be the shorter version, as I couldn't bother really to rewrite the entire article as it was intended to be, I'm so pissed.

In the previous part of our story about eSerbia, we've last stopped at a turning point in eSerbia's history where it was a step away from total annihilation and oblivion. It's congress was TO'ed by Croatia and it passed economically damaging laws, BorKan (member of Croat special forces - ZDRUG) was Serbia's first president, and in the unfair war against Croatia Serbia lost 5 out of 7 of it's original territories. I've described the situation between early February and early April.

Liberation

Due to the damaging effects of the TO and the general occupation of the country, Serbia's awareness and political organization reached an all-time low. Things looked very grim, but fortunately for Serbia there was a number of young enthusiasts who were ready to take the stern of the country. A bold plan was proposed by a Hungarian general Norbi, and accepted by Lipec and the Serbian government. Bulgaria (allied state) was going to annex the remaining Serbian territories in an attempt to close the war against Serbia and Croatia (Atlantis MPP's). It was taken seriosly, and there were even RL meetings between leaders of eHungary and eSerbia.

Operation was dubbed Brave tailor by Lipec, Serbian president, and eventually it was concluded successfully with no significant problems. Bulgaria soon returned Serbian territories, and liberation of Serbia soon followed. First two territories annexed by Bulgaria were returned by RW's, and epic battle of Vojvodina followed where Hungary along with PEACE snatched a close victory against ATLANTIS. It is important to remember that at this time Serbia was not yet a member of PEACE, but negotiations were open, and soon concluded successfully soon enough.

Involvement in PEACE Global Community and problems that followed

In mid-April (~16ish something) Serbia became a full-pledged member of PEACE Global Community. It's small forces participated in the conflict dubbed the "Great war" trying to stop the Romanian war machine from taking Karnataka and then pushing them back all the way to Romania after South Africa was pacified. Serbia's numerical brigades and it's Elite were in Tamil Nadu, Andhra-Pradesh, Maharashtra, the epic battle for West Siberia, the battle considered as the last gasp of ATLANTIS as a functional alliance. Large numbers of Serbs proved to be a worthy strategic asset for PEACE GC HQ, as the Serbian voters helped secure the Russian congress against the Romanian PTO attempt in April. Despite the catasrophe that was happening in Serbia, Serbs provided for more them 100 votes on 25th of May in Indonesia, making a huge difference between the PTO and ATO attempts.

A second, larger baby boom happened in then, still occupied Serbia and participation in PEACE training wars proved invaluable for eSerbian newbies. This would later prove to be a turning point in history of eRepublik. During these battles, eSerbia has been the victim of a series of hacking attacks with devastating outcomes. Money was stolen from their finance ministry, hacked accounts generated wast amounts of our the currency - the Serbian Dinar (RSD), almost all of their top players got banned because their hacked accounts were involved in the cloning of our currency, or the Hungarian currency (HUF) and the last straw was what happened on the last Congressional elections. There were two parties in eSerbia and with a weird twist of fate president of the older party got his account hacked (although some players, and the admins have insinuated that it was an inside job). The hacker rearranged the candidate list to put multies and Romanian, Spanish and Croatian players into congress, then he resigned from the party. These were the "Martians", named like that because they literally came out of nowhere.

At the very same time eSerbs received their second baby boom (the first was after the first congregational elections in February when their numbers rose from 400 to over 2000 citizens) eventually there were more then 4000 Serbian players. However, the hostile congress voted the minimum wage to 35 RSD (was 1 RSD before) and raised the VAT and income tax on food, while lowering the import tax on it. They also lowered the citizen fee, and abused the Job Offer bug to create fake jobs. They took every possible measure to kill newly arrived eSerbian players. Their true identity was never revealed as they never "shouted", never posted comments, literally did nothing, except vote on damaging laws in eSerbian congress. This led to the conclusion that if the TO'ers weren't Croatian, they surely were citizens of several Atlantis countries.

The Serbs tried to cope with the situation best as they could, a mass exodus of citizens was planned to Indonesia and Hungary, allied and powerful countries. Soon enough, however, Croats would feel the power of a political takeover on their own nation.
