Community Awards Results, and the next round of Nominations
The Irish Community
The next round of awards are for the entire year of 2011 not just for the month (Please keep this in mind when making your nominations, as for example Patrick O'Leary is eligible for the Newcomer of the Year award despite being fairly old (born in January) and experienced by now. Also former Irish citizens such as Chance Harrison are also eligible for nomination in relevant categories, ie politics.) and as such are extra important. I hope you all make the effort to make it a bigger and better event than normal. You can submit your nominations in this form: http://goo.gl/HRn4u
Results for November
Well better late than never here are the results of November’s Community Awards. They would have been formally shown off with banners and such sooner, but the Ministry held off in the vain hope that you the Community would send in further votes to separate the numerous ties. You didn’t. Only two people bothered to send in extra votes, and this isn’t good enough. I don’t wish to sound grumpy here but the lack of enthusiasm shown there is disheartening. Hopefully the next awards will be more popular.
The wonderful banners for these awards were done up by Eric Last, and I personally think he did a great job of it, and he was fast, efficient, and polite the whole way through. A big thank you to him from The Irish Community!

Well done everyone
Voted. Very nice work I must say. Awards for the year are going to have to require some thinking.

oh, and the one with the Yankee, gnilraps, looks okay, too.
I don't know what he's done for Ireland, but he's been a pretty decent friend to America.
May I use the award badge in my newspaper?
Most Certainly Gnilraps!
Oh and nice article. Good job to all involved. Eric Last wry you disappear?
OMG I won.
I'd like to thank my mum, my dad, my cat.. I mean my ex-cat ;_; and ecology for giving me unlimited access to Birch related humour.
Chance Harrison is getting interviewed. 😉 Stay tuned.
Well done everyone.
Thank you guys so much for this. I'm really touched that you all still remember me, never mind feel to award me like this. I may come back to visit for a while soon though I'm pretty settled in eCan just now and things will be mad busy 'til Christmas.
Chance - I have my reasons, sadly. We'll talk about it some time. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I'll be back soon (and probably for real this time, lol)
I am honored. My success is only because of the support given to me by the eIrish people, and all our friends, throughout the month. Thank you all.

Well I want it wrapped up before the next term. So lets say you have a week or so to pick nominations, another week to vote for winners.
