Community Award Nominations 11/7/2011
The Irish Community
Hello Ireland. How are you this month? I would like to start off by saying that I know I let things slide a bit at the end of October. I did it purposely since I think I was overdoing it a bit and inundating you all with lottery stuff and it was just too much. The last couple of drawings for the lottery had two at most who entered and the last time there were none. So I will hold off a week or so and start it up again with the jackpot where it left off at 1500 IEP. Not a bad prize for such a small investment. But not yet though.
I am starting off this month with nominations for Octobers Community Awards. You got to see an entire month of how the government, publishers and the military performed so the results will show how you feel they did this past month. Sort of a grading of their performance for October.
The eIreland Community Awards
Most Trusted Politician
Who of the current or recent TDs/Ministers etc. stands out to you as having fulfilled their campaign promises? Who's been honest and upfront? Who has placed service to eIreland and her citizens before themselves?
Minister of the Month
Who is your favorite Minister of the month? It can even be a Deputy Minister.
Most Acclaimed Publisher
Whose articles do you never fail to read? Who keeps you informed or entertained, who gets you thinking or explains things you might not have understood nice and clearly? Maybe they do all of the above.
Article of the Month
Which article did you enjoy most this month? It must have been published in Ireland.
Most Celebrated Soldier
Which of our soldiers stands out to you as one who should be applauded? Maybe they're a great leader, a tireless fighter - maybe they're both.
Best General Manager
Whose company/companies are always well stocked with raw materials? Maybe they stand out for another reason - do they offer any perks you couldn't get elsewhere, or are the wages generous? If you think a general manager deserves praise here's your chance to give it to them.
Newcomer to Watch
Who, three eMonths old or younger, has already made an impression? Are they getting involved already, making their voice heard? Nominate them here.
Irelander of the Month
This can be anyone, for any reason. One Irish citizen who stands out to you as deserving of an award. Maybe they're a trusted poltician, and a great manager, and many other things... maybe they've helped you out when times were hard, or worked hard for the nation. Whoever and for whatever reason this is your chance to get them the attention they deserve. For this category a brief explanation of why you're nominating them would be greatly appreciated.
Loveable Rogue
They're mischief but you love them anyway, or they stir the pot without actually doing harm. Does this sound like someone you know? Please nominate them for this one.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Similar to Irelander of the month but nominees for this award should be people who throughout their eLives have stood out. They may not have constantly held positions of power but maybe they always were there to help you, maybe they turned your political party around, maybe they mentored you to greatness but all this over the longer term. All nominees for this award should have a citizen account at least four months old as of the day nominations open. Prior winners may not be nominated again. That Pantheon includes Nithraldur, Nogin the Nog, Moomoohead, Anaille Kolshire, 5n4keyes, Irishbhoy 1967 Grainne Ni Mhaille, Marcus Suridius and Irish_Rebel_Reborn, Seanan and Castaneda.
Friend of Ireland
A new category this month. What non Irish citizen of eRepublik has done the most for eIreland this month? Their contributions can be military, political, social, economical or anything you like. If they helped eIreland more than anyone else (besides Irish citizens) then nominate them.
Send your nominations to either this org or you can send them to me, Anthony Colby.
I am looking forward to this month and as Bhane said any person who would like to help out and learn the ropes will be very appreciated.
I am looking forward to seeing who gets nominated for this round of the Community Awards.

Hey AC wheres my lifetime achievement award ?
Its okay Cas, I apparently dont have one either
I've got three Lifetime Achievement Awards. They're super secret though. At least that's what PP told me when he sold them to me.
I did kind of forget about the banners. Anyone know someone good since Luminara seems to be gone?
Sorry Cas and Seanan. I added you to the list of the Lifetime winners.
Eric Last is a wizard with banners. He's in eCanada TCO but eIrish at heart.
Fair play AC, I keep forgetting about doing this when I see it so will do it now.
didn't see the lotto for a little whilte thats why i never entered,
Yes John. You were one of the few who entered regularly. I think I made it too regular and so it didn't attract the attention it used to when it was held only once or twice per month.
It will return next week, or maybe later this week. Not sure yet.
Luminara might still be around... in another country... under another name.
; )
Under another gender .......
Check Brazil... check my friends list. : )
Ah, I thought that person was very like Luminara! 🙂
Don't feed the Conway because he feeds other trolls by vomiting undigested parts.
