As we all know, the current regime in the the eUK is of a socialist nature. The Unity Party goverment, led by the shrewd 'Mr Woldy', is purely left-wing liberatarian. This is a far more easy going form of socialism, as opposed to the alternative pure, free socialism. However, should we abolish this reign of 'soft' government, and move forward to the better, more unifying, 'big' goverment communism. Communism is surely perfect for eRepublik.
What are the usual common objections to this?
Objection: Communism doesn't make all people equal, it makes the rich even richer.
Answer: I'm sorry, but isn't that the basic philosophy for capitalism. This merely happens in a corrupt society, unable to let go of the evils of capitalism and with a government packed full of secret right-wingers. Pure Marxism, PERFECT eCOMMUNISM, is the the UTOPIA OF HUMANITY and works perfectly within the rules of the New World. Surely a world where everbody is EQUAL is worth fighting for!
Objection: Communism destroys freedom of speech and oppresses normal people
Answer: What you are talking about here is a totalitarian regime. For a start this is impossible in eRepublik as free will is what the game is all about! Anyway this is a result of corrupt, warped communism being used to keep the ruling, 'fake', right-wing communists in power. My form of eCommunism is pure, free Marxism promoting egalitarianism; as opposed to totalitarianism, which is really fascism in disguise.
Objection: Communism creates a ruling class and an oppressed group of common people which divides the country
Answer: Like I have said, this scenario only happens in a corrupt government ruled by right-wing politicians, this would never happen, especially in eRepublik where a totalitarian goverment is almost impossible to run efficiently. In reply to the ridiculous claim that Communism divides, I ask, do know anything about Communism at all? The whole ethos of Communism is about equality and unity. By working together for a common cause, to make the eUK strong, we are equally working together to make the New World a better place.
Don't believe me, well I'll give you a perfect example that works and it is from right here in this country.
During the REAL Second World War, The UK was hugely threatened from Germany and the NAZIs, the greatest of all the evils of the right-wing. Everybody counted us out, it was like a Dog vs a Lion, Davis vs Goliath! And yet, this small, proud, island; rose together to defeat the might of NAZI Germany and restore freedom to the world.
How did we do it? COMMUNISM! We worked together, everthing from rationing to working in munitions factories to recycling rubber tyres; all to help with the war effort!
It showed what we could do when we all clubbed together to achieve a common goal. It showed that through Communism, through EQUALITY and UNITY we could defeat the greatest evil of them all, the far-right.

In ePortugal now is the communist party in the governament. For the first time another party won, before it was always since v1 PDA.

So how would you put this into place? Would the Communist government nationalize all private companies in its eNation? Would the eGovernment be able to provide the citizens with affordable food, weaps, etc? How would you be able to concentrate all wealth in the government?

The problem with eCommunism is that you cannot regulate and control businesses except through taxation. You cannot fix prices except by discounting government created products. You cannot control emmigration (leaving a country) and so if your wages are extremely low and people cannot run a business many will move.

It could be interesting to see if communism could work on eRep provided the mechanics of the game allow it.
For the "anti-communists", I believe that the goal here is communism, not stalinism, maoism, castrism or whatever dictatorship system that hides behind the name of communism or socialism. (There are too many "-ism" words in this sentence by the way 😁 ).
Communism is not the cause for slaughters. Deviant ideologies and people applying them are the causes. The same happens with other ideologies: just look at how many dictators use or have used the names "democracy" and "republic". It doesn't mean that democracy and republic are rotten ideals, just that dictators misuse their meanings on purpose.
By the way, it's a game and it could be an interesting experiment so you don't have much to fear 😮)
However, Potente, you need a complete political plan (maybe you have one, I just clicked on the ad and haven't read your other articles). Saying "communism" alone is a bit short and may not lead to what the people have in their own mind.

you can't just try to put communism on the internet to it has failed in russia and almost in cuba and a macdonald's had opened in china showing some captalis powers coming in. But the point i am trying to get across is it will fail you can't just supress people and take away there right to speak its just wrong.

I question your WW2 statements. Hitler could have been defined as extreme left just as easily as extreme right. Also, post war, the communist ideals in this country led to a stagnated economy as people lost the motivation to work.
Why should I have ambition and put my all into any society that refuses to recognise or reward me? Asking people to break their backs for the greater good in order to have no more priviledge than a lazy person who contributes nothing to society is bad enough without asking them to be happy about it.
Nice article! The only problem is that it looks good in theory but in practice I'm not sure how it would be implemented. It's somewhat like in RL: communism appears to be superior but in reality it has never been superior. I'm not even sure it's possible (I don't regard People's Republic of China a communist country).
How about a discussing methods to implement it and some info on former or current communist eCountries in a follow-up article?

Maybe it's not, but why not give it a try in this eWorld?
If it worked in a place where we have nothing to lose and where personal interest could be more easily put aside, I would have better hope that a form of utopia could be approached (even if it's unreachable) in the real world.
