Come to Tasmania, and vote for CQL

Day 794, 15:35 Published in Australia Australia by Crazy Quilt Lady
Not so long ago, in a continent down under...

The Pizza Menace

It is a time of great civil unrest. Rebel players, striking from a hidden base, have won a great
victory in the form of PTOing the former Australian Democratic Socialist Party and turning it
into the Liberal Party of Australia. These actions, along with party bickering, threaten to cast
eAustralia into all out civil war.

Turmoil has engulfed the eAustralian Senate. The taxation of trade routes bringing Iron and
Wood into eAustralia is being disputed. Hoping to resolve this matter while the Senate
endlessly debates, I, Crazy Quilt Lady, have dispatched herself on an important mission to
Tasmania. There to get elected to the Senate under the banner of the Australian Independents.
Then with the authority of the eAustralian Senate, negotiate with representatives of the
Australian Business Association to settle the conflict.

Why would I run for Senate again after staying clear from politics for four months?
* As my opening crawl says, eAustralia is under threat of PTO. A PTO threatens the very life
of our nation. We are already a very divided nation. We don't need anyone intentionally
creating problems.
* Some of our old leaders have left us. This creates room for those with ambition to advance in
the government. Others see it as an opportunity to PTO our nation; make it turn against the
ideals we have chosen to embrace. In short, make us betray all that we hold dear.
* Too many people get elected to Senate only to be inactive on IRC and the Forums. Their
inactivity only helps the PTOers to gain a majority vote.
* I was active in forums discussions and votes during my previous two terms as Senator from
Queensland. Now that the Holiday rush is over, I am prepared to be active again. And this
time I am prepared to become active on IRC.
* While away from the Senate, I have been in discussion with the ABA developing new ideas
of how the ABA can help the eAustralian Government to regulate the economy. But I lack
the ability to turn those ideas into litigation. Please give me the ability to make litigation
once more.

What makes me qualified?
* I have been an active Senator twice before.
* I am respected within the eAustralian Business Association.
* I have been an Australian Citizen since shortly after the rebirth of our nation.
* I am a rational individual who respects all her fellow eRep players regardless of political
or national affiliation.

My stand on the issues:
* I favor eAustralia becoming a full member with EDEN.
* I would like to see Sol re-cast as a worldwide alliance of neutral countries.
* I support social programs.
* I want to open the doors to foreign competitive Raw Materials.
* I want to protect Australian manufacturing.
* I support further funding of the eAus Military and its expansion.

Why should you vote for an Independent?
* Members of the Australian Independents have stayed clear of the political mudslinging.
We hold dear the Australian ideals that politicians must be polite and respectful of one
another.
* The AI is not the PaPP, eRA, LPA, or ANP; we do not make baseless attacks on our
rivals. We, in fact, do not consider anyone to be our rival.
* AI members are individuals who do not perscribe to any strict party dogma. We are
free-thinkers who represent their own ideas and not those of their Party President.

Why vote for me over other Independents running in Tasmania?
* My AI competitors do not have a track record of activity in the eAus Senate.
* I am not a Gold digger.
* I seek to prevent the PTOers from achieving their goals.
