A while back I was a newbie and a fellow eUK member helped me out.
In the last month i travelled the world (USA, Indonesia, Romania, Germany, Norway) sampling what eRepublik had to offer, having participated in Wars, Revolutions, Take Overs, etc.
During my time abroad, I also learnt a thing or two about game mechanics, so I decided to return home and contribute something back to the best place in eRepublik. eUnited Kingdom!
In the words of Black Adder (I have a cunning plan)
Part ONE of my Cunning Plan

So this is my offer.
If you are new to this game (less than level 5) and live in (or move into the the East Midlands - Ask London Transport to pay for your ticket). I am willing to support you out of my own pocket until you reach level 5.
I am also willing to offer advice or tips, to all those people who are too lazy to read the forums - You will get short 1-2 sentence responses that answer your questions. If you want a essay go to the forums.
Here is the deal
I will loan you the funds you need to buy food, whilst you are less than level 5
and will pay for a single moving ticket when you obtain the super soldier medal should you wish to see combat.
In return I ask you to either repay me once you reach level 7 or take on the responsibility of paying the favour forward to some other total stranger thats less than level 5. Your choice!
If you are levels 1-4
1. please take up the offer in the comments section,
If you are above level 5, you can help in several ways.
2. you can respond in the comments and make a similar offer to one other newbies.

Good idea, but with this charity, I'm not saying you shouldn't try it but think if your wasting you're money or not. Everybody else has pulled through fine, I started off and in a week I was down to 40 wellness. But that's just because I wasn't paying attention and thought that because I could work for a Q2 company I should, not realising that it'd hit my wellness pretty hard. Now I'm up in the 80s, what I'm saying is just give people advice instead of handouts, this way you know they will work and will advance in their careers so that they can get better wages.
But do what ever you want.

One of the advantages of doing this through comments, is people remind us what is obvious, but over looked. Like Hoskin's advice of not workin for a Q2 company
this is hoth and i am happy to look after someone until they reach level 6 and see them into combat for the return of 1 of their 5 gold when they reach level 6
at level 7... you are not even near to have the money to suport a new player or to pay a loan. But actualy, you do not need a loan, you can make your own money to live even at lvl 1-5. But if you need some advice please give me a PM becouse you will learn that a good advice at the right time means more then 100 GBP
