Editorial Note ~ Clearing it up

Okay, so just in case some people aren't clear, my article yesterday about the US invasion of Japan wasn't totally serious. I was trying to highlight the fact that the US is once again bullying its way across the globe because they can't find a diplomatic solution (no change there then). In this article, I'll clear up what's happening over there as well as what's going on with the UK's attacks against the US eastern seaboard.

As you may have seen, the UK is now in possession of 6 US states, namely Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. You may be wondering how we managed to be that awesome. It's all down to the USA invading Japan. Our attack in New Jersey which we launched last night had already drawn in excess of 1 and half million damage and was continuing to draw more. The USA attacked Kyushu at 9:24 eRepublik time today, a little over 3 hours ago. Minutes before this, they retreated New Jersey so that they could attack Japan. In doing so, they gained the attack initiative needed to invade Japan, while also halting any damage draining. Soon afterwards, our Prime Minister Mr. Woldy made the choice to attack further US states which the American President systematically retreated right up to Pennsylvania. Then the North American governments worked together, with the US retreating the battle, quickly followed by an attack from Canada and a well placed resistance war. This means the the UK is stuck for a full 24 hours since we have lost our initiative to Canada and the resistance war prevents us from retreating to regain initiative. Go figure.



So what is the US up to. It's quite simple really. They are bulldozing through Japan (where they are very much unwelcome as three past Japanese administrations have made clear) in an attempt to relieve firstly Iran of, the originally Chinese, Liaoning region with it's high iron. After that, they will perform a land swap with China (previously agreed), through Jilin to Hungary's high iron region of Heilongjiang. This will effectively cripple not only Hungary's military weapon supply, but also that of a number of other PHOENIX countries who's main iron supply comes from the Hungarian iron fortress.

Let me make it quite clear that the reason the USA is invading under the pretence of "revenge" is because the Japanese administration refused to cooperate in acting like a springboard into eastern Asia. Sounds a lot like bullying doesn't it? Hmm. Seems to me that the USA is indeed reverting to it's old attitude for getting things done. They should at least be honest about it, eh?

It's rather funny that Jewitt promised London & Northern Ireland to his voters and instead by his second day in office he's lost 6 states to the UK. Good job sir.
