Cobra – Terrorism comes to eCanada

Well it was only a matter of time before eRepublik arrived in the post 9/11 era. The emergence of COBRA last week gave everyone something to think about.
First of all, this game was designed to give people the opportunity to construct the world in the manner that they see fit – to potentially build a Utopia of international relations or a Utopia of nationalistic design. This was our chance to make a brighter world, one devoid of the evils that plague our own.
And yet, the darker side of humanity could not be contained and COBRA Organisation has demonstrated that in every world and in every second chance, those who prey on the weaknesses of others; those who are self-serving and greedy; those who put their own wants and needs over the wants and needs of society as a whole will come forward and take there place as the scum of the universe.
Make no mistake eCanadians, COBRA is a terrorist organisation. Their interests are entirely self-serving.
The Jacobian Government has its work cut out for them and history will show that their administration will be defined by how they react to this terrorist threat.

as we speak, the CSIS, Attorney Generals office, and other parts of the Jacobi Administration are working to contain this threat. COBRA IS a terrorist organization, and will be prosecuted as such
Good to know. I don't know how/if the constitution is designed to deal with this sort of threat, but i'm concerned that COBRA(A😎 will just go underground and run its organizations from overseas... That is the danger of a cell based terrorist group. There is almost no way to expose the moles currently in government...

Cobra poses a serious threat to the sovereignty of eCanada. Regardless of one's political affiliation, we as eCanadians must unite to fend off the potentially fatal and irrevocably disruptive attacks which are to be perpetrated by radical terrorist Cobra members. These events threaten to undermine Canada's means of self-protection. This is not a time for apathy, it is a time to fight to preserve a nation which has toiled hard to reach the stage where democracy is at the core of its values. This is a time to acknowledge your citizenship and duty as an eCanadian and do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of a free and democratic eCanada.
