Clash of the Titans

They say that the War is young men dying and old men talking. As the ranking old timer, I feel obliged to convey my two cents on this recent bizarre clash of the titans i.e. The Dark Knight and TheJakal.

Perhaps some of you might have noticed, ePakistan had 6 regions a week ago; it is restricted to a solitary region as of today. A conflict between certain individuals have costed us 5+ regions in the matter of days.

Behold ladies and gentlemen; this wasn't the conventional conflict between dioists and RL Pakistanis. Nor was it the classic Pak-India warfare. This was two RL Pakistanis duking it out for consolidation of their bragging rights. This game of thrones (pardon the cliché) came to an end with The Dark Knight's endless tanking getting the better of TheJakal; and ePakistan losing its regions. Now we are stuck between the devil and the deep sea. We cannot NE India; We cannot RW our regions away from China and unless something dramatic happens, there will not be any war in foreseeable future. Welcome to another 3 months of boredom and shitty internal political cold war.

Now why did it happen? Why did things go so bad and all of this had to happen? Who is responsible for this geographic, and subsequent economic recession? Is it the Dark Knight who tanked against ePakistan? Is it TheJakal who provoked him into this stunt? or is it something else which I, being a noob, can't comprehend?

I have seen the logs having the conversation between TDK and certain members of DPP; clearly explicating the insults which prompted TDK to tank against ePakistan.

I have known Jakal from the beginning. Unfortunately, I got banned by the time he was yet a newbie but I have been led to believe that he essentially replaced me in ePakistan and invested a lot of money in almost everything. Its good, I appreciate it. But I also believe that this investment does not give him the license to insult others. The guy has zero tolerance and has been disdainfully offensive towards anyone and everyone, who differs with his opinion.

Logs have been issued with senior DPP members issuing statements like:

"If we want, we can win"
"Winning is what we do"
"How does it feel to be a loser" (towards The Dark Knight)
"I dont approve of this/that"

Why do I feel disgusted by the sheer lack of modesty and maturity in the aforementioned statements? If one is blinded by its wealth and insults someone like this, the result most certainly will not be pleasant. TheJakal provoked The Dark Knight, the latter retaliated and out-tanked everyone in DPP, or the country so to speak and the rest is history. For once, someone simply has more money and strength to put a leash on the wolves and jackals.

With that said, Let me be the one to explicate that I will never understand or condone the rationale behind tanking against ePakistan and its allies, NO MATTER WHAT! When you are on top, the bullseye is on you. There will always be haters, people will always question your achievements, they will always demand answers, they will always be discontent. But nothing gives you entitlement to hurt the country like this. And this is applicable to everyone. I advised The dark Knight against it and explain to him what he was doing. He understood and stopped, but it was too late.

But... What's done, is done!

Thins what have happened, cannot be undone and there is no point blaming one party or the other. And frankly, we can never really prove who was at fault for this chaos.

To cut a long story short, I appeal all parties to stop being pompous asses and bury the hatchets. Like I commented on some article, nations are forged with unity, not with division. And right now, Pakistan needs everyone of its citizens. These titans are our assets, and we need them to guard our walls.

Hundreds, may be thousands of gold have been spend in past 10 days on this power struggle. In the end, no one won; Pakistan lost. 1000g spent on tanking has gone down the drain. Had this 1000g be spent to build a national weapons company, it would've benefited us all forever. I dont know how much money The dark Knight has and I dont know how much does TheJakal has. But I do know is that both of them are better off investing a small sum of that wealth in ePakistan, rather than fighting each other off, trying to figure who is a bigger tank. Mind you, if anyone invests for the country, its because it is obliged to do so, not because its a charity for the country.

ePakistan was there even before TheJakal or TDK or raao or aovelhanegra or kualkerr or max macfarland or anyone else. It will be there even when we are gone. There is always someone who steps up and replaces the departed one. No one is indispensable. No one has the right to play God.

So its about time everyone gets out of their delusional superiority and start working for ePakistan with some modesty. Bury the hatchets. Forget the past, make room for, the future!!
