Cheetah Congress Diaries - Entry 1

Hi, I'm CheetahCurtis, a Congressman in the eUK. I am also a member of the Great British Democratic Party. You may or may not know me, you may or may not have voted for me, but I'm here to tell you what I have been doing in Congress in the past few days. Because after all, what is the point of voting for someone who you have no idea of what they have done in their past term. You may not agree with my ideas, but at least read my article. I hope other Congressmen copy this idea and we have a more transparent and active Congress.

Proposed Laws

MPP With Serbia
Voted Yes
Passed at 32-7
They are one of our strongest allies, and a great friend in TWO. It would make no sense to vote 'no' to the MPP.

MPP with Thailand
Voted Yes
Passed at 36-6
A member of ACT, the smaller version of TWO. I believe we must keep close friends with all of these countries, which includes having MPP's with all of them. Thailand are also going to war with Croatia so will need our help while we do not have a real war going on.

MPP with Slovenia
Voted Yes
Passed at 38-1
Another close ally of the eUK, so waste of a friendship to not renew the MPP.

No Natural Enemy

Voting Unfinished
After having a discussion with my fellow Congressmen, I had decided to vote Yes for no natural enemy. Even though I want to eUK to have a real or training war in the near future, it would be best to leave Ireland for now before we damage any relations. We also need to continue to help our allies such as Thailand who are fighting off Croatia. For those interested in an eUK war, its looking hopefully in the next week or two.

Congress News
Instead of just telling you how I voted, I am hoping to inform you of anything that is going on inside of Congress in this section of my articles. I will stick to the rules and not post any sensitive information here, but if there is something I can share with you guys I hope to post it.

On the 27th, voting began for the Congress speaker. The speaker would track activity of Congressmen and make these records public. They would also process legislative changes and be in charge of Congress communication. I had the choice of voting for Woldy, Twycross, Huey George and Vault Guy, I chose to vote for Huey George. I have seen his previous Congress activity in the past and know he will take this job very seriously. The final vote ende😛
