Change of rights in #eUNL

To provide more transparency in the rights and permissions of the Community channel we made a new setup. The new setup will be based on the position someone haves in the Community. Below you can find an overview of the new setup:

SOP:
- Administrators
- Country President

AOP:
- Chairman of Congress
- Global Mods
- Ministers

HOP:
- Congress Members
- Deputy Chairman of Congress
- Key Keeper
- State Secretaries

VOP:
- Dutch citizens

Of course the rules in the channel will remain the same: http://tinyurl.com/rules01

The Administrators will change the permissions when someone gets a new position, like after the CP elections or after presenting the government or after the Congress elections, etc etc.

Transparency in who gets what permission. The current and former policies were never (as far as I know) have been politically decided.

I was unaware of any policy except 'give higher access to people who are on irc a lot'. Which worked fine, imo. I don't think any other country ever had such an extensive access list on it's irc.

And Garmr yes, it is not rare to have access rules on IRC channels. There are this kind of rules on almost all IRC channel I'm present.

If #eUNL will continue to be eNL community channel, access should identify admins but also government and congress (OK, maybe there is no need to give HOP to all congress members, but the rest of it is good).

Yeah, we've always had CP + MoFA + MoD with sufficient access, along with a couple guys who hang on irc a lot. Don't see why all ministers etc should have access especially as most of them hardly visit irc.

This is the result of a series of negotiations between Giovanni and ElGorro, so we can finally unify our country! We're also hoping to make the forum a place for all eNL citizens, where not only I&W runs the place, but have it more equal, so everyone can feel at home there.

It was basicly a small talk between Giovanni and myself. We both allready got somewhat the same ideas. You cant can that a series of negotiations 😛
