Change in Weapons Tax
Guy Kilmore
Upon reviewing the industry, I am purposing the following changes to the Weapons Industry:
Current:
Vat: 20%
Import 75%
Income: 5%
Propose😛
Vat: 1%
Import 99%
Income: 1%
The weapons industry is one our strongest industries and we should be encouraging continued growth of this sector. We have an Iron Resource and our Iron companies are able to support themselves. With the world in conflict exporting these weapons brings needed gold and currency to our nation.

I understand your proposal.
But it will only be interesting if we buy licenses for export.
Our favors in exchange. I do not think need much lower taxes. Perhaps to 10% VAT and Income.
voted.
VAT just hurts the consumer. If we are looking at arming our citzens we are either taxing them to do this or taxing ourselves to supply them.
I would encourage any company that is thriving to export some goods to other countries. This brings in their currency which we can convert to gold, gold that can stay in eThailand. A lower income tax encourages people to work in these industries.
I support that all help in the construction of our Defense Systems.
I do not disagree with that. Construction and Manufacturing are different skill sets. I am not sure how this proposal counters that goal?
I am also not sure how charging a steep tax increase to someone who wishes to purchase a weapon to defend our country is beneficial as well?
Okay, you win.
Guys, let's vote on the proposal YES!
The other thing worth noting is that our treasury isn't exactly hurting at the moment. There's no pressing need to tax for the sake of raising capital for the government; taxing at this point is best aimed at encouraging or discouraging work in a given domain. As weapons is currently one of our strongest industries (thanks, war and rumors of war!), dropping taxes on it can help encourage work in it, which means exporters in it can use our favorable currency exchange rate to bring more Gold into eThailand.
Ya for winning. Seriously, I do not think you and I are not at odds on this if your goal is to get people armed and have everyone make money while doing it.
Editte😛 I deleted a previous comment because I dropped a critical word that completely changed the meaning of what I was going to saying.
Voted in Yes, for the good sake of our country.
