Join the new world

Imagine my surprise, when logging into this Cavalry Public Affairs org, to find in my mailbox a note from eRep Admins. Seems there was some sort of vulgar language in the Sunday (Day 1090) edition of this Cavalry Saber newspaper... hmm, how that got past me, a responsible editor of a clean, family newspaper, I'll never know.

Thankfully, I do a pre-publication edit in an older issue of the paper before posting work as a new article, so I am able to edit and republish the piece in a self-censored condition.
I do sincerely apologize to both the readers and Admins who were offended by the vulgar language contained in the original publication of this article, and also to those readers whose speech must herein be censored, and to readers who are offended by such censorship.

Certainly the pulling of this article for Vulgarity is not the most outrageous example of heavy handed interpretation and indiscriminate enforcement of the rules as has been seen in the media lately.
But we must remember that eRepublik is not a democracy, but a privately owned for-profit business, and we are all free and welcome to stop playing any time the rules and conditions become untenable.

There's this place overseas called Indonesia... maybe you've heard of it..
Some folks over here have, and boy it must have some badass surfin' or something 'cause there was American soldiers along with 18 other great allies all at this place they call Sumatra. I think the locals might not have put out the welcome mat, but the boys really wanted to party so they rolled on in anyways. The Indos called The Man and tried to push the Allies off the beach, but, well, you know Americans and that whole beer and barbecue thing, they were having none of it.
So at the end of sixteen two-hour cherry-poppin' mini battles it came down to this...

And, yes... respect.. respect to our battlefield counterparts, Indonesia and her 14 allies.
That was no cake walk for anyone.. we'll all feel this one in the morning.
