Carry On My Wayward Son

there'll be peace when you are done

This isn't an article I ever imagined myself writing, and it's not particularly easy to write either.

Since the good old days of Ip and Wephen, I've been with and defended the PCP through thick and thin. I've been a congressman for it, I've been it's leader and ran for president for it, and I've even worked with Iain Keers for it (though normality was restored when I also argued with him for it).

It's such a shame that those good old days are now in the past, and that I could not and cannot reward it with success with the great deal of love I have for it - but I have come to realise that when I long for success and greatness for the party, it's merely the case that I long for the old days back, when we had an active and healthy community, election success and a sway in the often bizarre and drama-filled politics.

I'm sorry to have to admit this, but I no longer feel we can get those things back, regardless of how much devotion and effort people may put in, so I feel as though I must depart for greener pastures.

I hope that my comrades will forgive me, and I sincerely hope that I am wrong, but I have nothing more to give the party as it is - a relic of the old days.

Goodbye, PCP.
