Join the new world

The eUS Congress, the assembly of dignified citizens that help our country run. They help the president with decisions through debates, and have an active part in the passing and rejection of proposed laws. To me, being a member of congress isn’t about the gold, or the medal, or the ability to go around telling everyone, “Hey look! I’m in the congress!” To me, it’s an opportunity to help my nation thrive, help my fellow citizens who may need some guidance in to what to do to make the game more interesting or even just let them know what’s going on in the government.


Communication
I feel communication is a very important skill needed to be in congress. If I am elected into congress, I will actively communicate with the public through my self-owned newspaper, forums, and IRC (which I am on roughly 8 hours a day) keeping them informed with what is going on in the government, and what topics are being debated. I believe communication is a great aspect needed in order to achieve success. Having the ability to convey to the public what the people they voted for are doing for them and the current status of our country is very important. Not only is communication important with the general public, but it is also important within congress. The ability to communicate with other congress members in a respectful and efficient way is crucial to the success of the Congress’ term and even the success of the nation.


Foreign and Domestic Affairs
Foreign and Domestic Affairs are definitely not something to be taken lightly, especially with the current war against England. We need to assure we keep our current allies happy so that we have support when we need it. As for the other nations outside of EDEN, we should work on gaining their trust, explaining to them the benefits of our alliance, and do so in a respectful and honorable manor. While things abroad are important, we also must remember to focus on ourselves. Welcoming Committee, The Interior, Meals on Wheels, Mentoring Programs, and the other programs that help new players adjust to their new life in the "New World" are critical to the survival of our nation. We need to make sure people are aware of the correct way to engage in battles, how to maintain their wellness, and give them options on programs and organizations to join to make the game more interesting and return the favor that was given to them to the other new players coming in. This is how we, as a nation, grow and be prosperous, and most importantly succeed.



Military
The Military is crucial to our survival of a nation, there is no question about that. If we don't have a successful, determined, driven, and organized military structure, we are only doing harm to ourselves. We need to be sure the military gets the funding it needs in order to be at it's most efficient. At the same time, we must not ignore the private militias. They may not be a part of the official US Military, but nevertheless, they are equally important as fighters and if they ask for assistance, we need to be sure to listen to them. I am currently enlisted as a Sergent First Class of the Training Corps in the US Military, and I first handedly know what kind of dedication, determination, and discipline the troops hold as well as the outstanding organization and dedication the top serving officers have that makes the whole military work and be successful.

Success; that is what I strive to achieve. You may have noticed, each section has ended with "success" in the final statement. I strive to be successful in anything and everything I do. For example, in the AAP, I'm now the Director of Communication and the editor of the party newspaper. I got there by talking with fellow members and showing I care about the party and its future. In the eUS Military, I'm a Sergeant First Class in the Training Corps. I assure you, I didn't get there by sitting in the background and doing the bare minimum that is asked for. Asking questions, talking to people, finding out what I can do to make a difference and be a bigger part of the grand picture, that's my goal. If I am elected into congress, my passion for success will be no different. I will do everything I can do, in my power, to be the best congressman I can possibly be for my fellow eAmericans.
