Candor: The Peoples President.

Following the announcement of my intention to run for President of The United States, I have spent many hours discussing the composition of my new Executive government, and the new Round Table coalition leadership that I will be forming.

Many of you have asked to hear bold new plans for the team, and have asked about current relationships with the world’s nations as well as proposals for future relationships.



You are salivating for a meaningful war.

I want to broaden, today, your understanding of what the future of my Executive will look like, and why such a revamping will now necessarily take place.

Some months ago, a previous Executive set out to free our nation from the confines of Balkan centric engagements. The idea was glorious, and bold. It was equally dangerous and risky. It was a gamble that, had we succeeded, would have freed the nation to more independently choose our battlefields and consequently provided diversity for our military strategists and soldiers.

But alas, our gamble failed. And today we find ourselves repaying our creditors and friends and necessarily rebuilding trusts that were betrayed in the losing bargain.

I want you to know that I supported the concept of a canvass free of Balkan chains, and that I took the gamble along with many other players and national leaders of the time. We rolled the dice, we lost. We pick up and move on. Retrench and rebuild.

Our current and traditional style of Executive leadership resembles a pyramid, with the President at the top disseminating directives to subordinates who further disseminate to ever larger audiences. The further one gets from the pinnacle of that pyramid, the less likely it is that your voice will be heard, let alone given consideration.



But within this nation, we are a team. And as we sail together, we share in success, or sink together.

And so I am proposing a new style of national leadership which more closely resembles an inverted pyramid. And in this system your Executive staff and President will organize and function as the facilitator for our teams (our customers) success. Never again will the team be at risk for the decisions of a few, but together we will enter into compacts which guide our collective futures.



This new style of Executive will consist of a Round Table of peers, one Representative from each party (T5’s and all significant 6th parties as well) who will outline and vote on the nations future policies. The President will facilitate discussion within the Round Table and collect a consent agenda for the Executive to implement and execute.

These Round Table representatives will be expected to participate with civility and with the shared goal of positive and always forward momentum for the nation, our team. The Representatives will be given full access to all available information, and will further be able to watch the implementation via read-only access to the President's Daily Briefing, where RT positions will be disseminated.

You as citizens will have the opportunity to express your views via guest passes to sit at the Round Table, but regularly through your parties Representative to the RT. Your RT Rep will equally be expected to report to you, as well as the nation, their positions on RT discussions as well as their view of the process and implementation, both positive and negative.

We will for once be playing this game as a team, from the bottom to the top. The Executive will be working for you to implement your wishes, rather than their own. The legacy of this Administration will be shared, for better or for worse.



This will be the most open Administration and form of government in the history of this nation. Our friends will know where they stand, as will foes of our nation.

In setting the example for inclusive governance, it is our hope that foreign policy will remain more consistent, open, and dependable in the future.

Some of you have already been contacted and asked to be a Representative to the Round Table of the Executive, and you may request to represent your party via direct PM if you wish.

No one party will have greater voice than another, each party will hold one seat. Non-participatory members will be replaced, and members who are continually impediments to the productive forward motion of the nation will equally be replaced.



Party politics will be checked at the door. The RT will operate as the nations Board of Directors to the profit of its investors. And those investors are you.

And now, in response to those of you who have asked for the specific agenda of my Presidency? It isn’t my agenda that you will elect, but that of your own. I’ll make no statement that constrains or ties the Round Table from deciding the direction of the nation. And to that Round table, I shall remain a faithful servant.



Ours is the greatest group of players ever assembled; the most creative strategists, the most patriotic loyalists, the most resilient nation in eRepublik. Together we have the strength to overcome any obstacle and tackle any challenge.



I’m offering you the key to your nation. A new beginning. I believe in you, and I believe we are up to the challenge.
